This 4 Bedroom, 3 Bath home is suited for up to 12 guests and feels like your home away from home. Pamper yourself with a weekend getaway or make your lifelong dreams come true. Security cameras are on the front and back porch but they are not active they are inoperable.

Historical and great location

Beautiful historical home, this home is very well preserved. Clean and cozy. The location to the event center is unbeatable. Close to great restaurants and a splash pad/ play park for the kids. The spaciousness in the home is wonderful. Everyone had plenty of room and very much enjoyed this home. I cant say enough good things about this place

Downtown Dream

Our host Mike was very accommodating in getting a gentleman out to fix several problems. The home is great for a large group. We had 6 for the week and 2 more for a couple days. Might be better for younger people as 4 of us are 74 and 78. The steps to the second floor were steep for us and the second bathroom has steps to it also. It is very roomy for a large group.

Our overall stay was good, we had some issues when we first checked in b/c the cleaning crew had not showed up, & the host was right on it. He had everything satisfactory within a couple hours. I would stay here again.

Our daughter’s wedding

Wonderful house; bedrooms upstairs. Fabulous downtown access.Main floor is spacious for hosting with a full dining room and large kitchen with 8 seat table and counter, plus 2 sitting rooms.

Nice updated house

The house was beautiful inside and good for what we needed. The beds in 2 of the bedrooms are fulls and not queens, but we made it work. The backyard was nice and useful, but could use some weeding. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

First ROMP Fest

The house was absolutely lovely with lots of history to it. Family was staying there for our first trip to ROMP and location was great for getting to/from festival as well as downtown activities to include Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum. The stand-up shower in master suite was a little small, but other than that it was a wonderful stay!

Holiday World Basecamp!

We stayed here for our yearly Holiday World vacation instead of in Evansville. Classic historic house & keep up ( you don’t see houses like this anymore) plenty of room, plenty of hot water, fenced in back yard for kids, ate at local non chain restaurants close by every night, great place.

Family Christmas & New Year’s celebration

Everything was great! Perfect for our family. Just a note for the owner so he is aware: the floors throughout the house were not clean! We wiped up & spill & the towels were black. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you.

We are originally from Owensboro so are familiar with the area. The home itself, however, is very beautiful and well-kept. The owner has done well keeping the historic style of the home while incorporating modern appliances and amenities. Communication and instructions were great throughout the process. The only thing I would say was a negative was the TV in the master bedroom kept restarting so it was difficult to impossible to watch TV in that room.
