We really enjoyed our stay here, even with 3 little ones. There was plenty of games and toys there for the kids to enjoy. I highly recommend visiting Smothers Park which is right down the road! Kevin was great about responding and keeping in communication throughout our stay when needed. Thank you!

We love the Bluegrass House. Stayed here 2 years in a row for a week long tournament and we are very happy. Owner communicates well and everything was as listed.

Nice place for small family

We did enjoy our stay. The kitchen and living room were spacious and comfortable. We also appreciated the owner accommodating our emergency situation that made us 20 minutes late departing.

Nice property - easy access to Bluegrass HOF

4 Adults, 1infant in town for an event at the Bluegrass HOF. Worked really well for us! Lots of space for my grandson to get around. Really easy access to the downtown waterfront. Our grandson lover playing in Smothers Park. We would stay here again.

Super Cute and convenient!!

We were in Owensboro for the Boston Terrier National specialty. This house is the perfect size in a fabulous location! You can walk to a park, coffee house, sonic and an easy drive to anything else. I had dogs with me and it was so nice to get back from showing/competing and let them run and play in the yard

Beautiful home and super clean

We absolutely loved the area and the house. The host was super friendly and helpful, and was very quick to respond with any questions we had. We loved the bluegrass house. It felt like a home away from home! If we were to come back to the area, we’d definitely check to see if this place is available!

Got location, kid approved

This property has a great central location in Owensboro, close to stores and wonderful local restaurants. The neighborhood was very quiet, so we slept pretty soundly on our stay. Our three-year-old absolutely LOVED the daybed and toys that were there for her to play with. Overall, great stay and we can’t wait to come back during warmer months to take advantage of the hot tub and fire pit!

My father, Don Baker, was in the restaurant business for over 30 years in Ohio. He always enjoyed and loved serving his guests. After retiring and selling the restaurant, his desire was to open his home to those visiting in the area. Due to health concerns, Dad was unable to realize his dream. As his son and daughter-in-law we hope to carry on his dreams and legacy! This is why we are hosts.
