Riverside Relaxer, newly renovated 2BR 2bath cottage with views of the Little Tennessee River.The Relaxer offers a large wrap around deck w/fire pit, balcony & grill w/river view. Brand new and professionally decorated interiors, cottage is well equipped, full stocked kitchen, gas fireplace, newly remodeled bathrooms, and upstairs BR with bath & balcony. LRG screen TV's in LR + BR’s. Easy access, & close to all Western NC towns and cities. Family + Pet Friendly, couples getaway in Franklin.

The newly renovated and improved navy riverfront cottage is the perfect place to relax riverside. Upon arrival you will be welcomed by the fully renovated new large wrap around porch along w/ the beautiful sights and sounds of the Little Tennessee River.

As you enter the home you will find a beautifully decorated cozy living room with gas fireplace, and large screen television. The kitchen has been completely updated and remodeled with lots of beautiful natural light & is fully equipped with everything you would like to enjoy while on vacation. A coffee area with a kuerig and traditional coffee maker, and supplies for both, an eat in kitchen, along with a door for easy access to the deck and grill.

This first floor bedroom is located off the living room with two plush full size beds, large screen TV and close newly remodeled full bathroom.

First floor also has a laundry room with front load washer and dryer.

The stairs lead to a brand new beautiful spacious upstairs suite, with large bathroom, closet, sitting nook with desk, king size plush bed with large screen television, electric fireplace, and a door to a private balcony with seating for two, with views of the river.

Outside the front door or side kitchen door is the large wraparound deck with gas grill, outdoor dining, and deck seating. The perfect location to enjoy your morning coffee and sunrise, or grilling up your favorite dinner. Just off the front porch is a firepit with chairs for storytelling and s'mores or hot dogs and laughs. New Hot Tub for 6 with lounger 59 jets and perfect location for an evening soak under the stars, book this new home for fall and experience the amazing space and hot tub!

Welcoming and clean

Clean , bright. Very nice to have a snack basket available ( which we took advantage of). Checkout list very reasonable. Location great in reference to town and to multiple mines. Would stay again for sure

This is an amazing place to stay. Extremely clean and close to Franklin. We thoroughly enjoy our stay and will definitely stay again. We highly recommend this beautiful home to stay.

Winter vacation

Property was clean well kept. I didn’t care for the sound of traffic from the main road. All in all good place to stay. Seen a few deer in the back woods.

Not for older people

There is no place in the downstairs bedroom to open a suitcase. Put the suitcases on the downstairs beds Then there was no place to sleep in the beds. The downstairs shower leaked And then the floor was soaking wet and dangerous. In the kitchen, there were two spots on the kitchen floor, where the floor was ripped or toy, and the whole floor on the chairs were totally unlevel. The stairs going up were very narrow and steep and dangerous, and you cannot carry a suitcase up. The sour did not leak, but the bathroom floor was sticky. There was a drawer where they were supposed to have aluminum foil, saran wrap something that you would use on it every day basis that was totally empty. I felt the driveway was extremely dangerous. It was hard to get into and even harder to get out. We took the garbage out on Wednesday night because it was supposed to be picked up on Thursday morning by eight. It wasn’t even picked up the week before there was still garbage and the garbage can when we got there. When we left, there was more garbage there. We were disappointed that a lot of the remotes did not have batteries in them and we had to go buy batteries to get them to work. The outside porch had not been cleaned in a long time we had to clean the chair before we could sit in them. The back of the chairs we did not clean and they were covered in dirt and mold.

Pretty Blue House

We enjoyed our recent stay at the Riverside Relaxer. It was so new and fresh-looking and every bit as beautiful as the preview photos. The house was cozy and comfortable as the hostess thoughtfully saw that all necessities were provided. The gas log fireplace and Star Link-enabled internet service were plus luxuries. The fall colors and full view of the Little Tennessee River from the front porch were wonderful. This lovely "blue house" was so nice to come home to each day after being out and about. The only negative was the occasional traffic noise during the day. We would recommend a stay at the Riverside Relaxer to others.

Wonderful!

This quaint little house was just perfect…all the details have been thought of…robes, slippers, snacks, coffee, you name it. I’m sad we didn’t stay long enough to try the fire pit or the hot tub. So beautifully decorated too. We didn’t want to leave! Would highly recommend!

Long weekend trip

Loved everything about this place. We really enjoyed sitting in the hot tub every evening. The cabin is nicely furnished and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely beautiful home

We had a great place at this house. They had tons of games and provided coffee and snacks. The beds were super comfy. The view was beautiful and the hot tub outside was so relaxing and super clean. My only suggestion would be for better outdoor lighting going to the hot tub. There were some of those creepy spiders building webs across the porch to the shed and we kept walking into them 😂 we had a great week and enjoyed our time here.

The blue house

The property was perfect. It had everything we could ask for. My daughter misses the " The Blue House" her nickname for the place. We roasted marshmallows, caught lightning bugs, and hung out in the hot tub. Thank you for having us.

Loved this place!

I travel for work and stay in VRBOs (and other unnamed rentals) all the time. This house is one of my favorites. Super cute. Clean. Beautiful location. And the hosts went above and beyond to make the place feel like home. We’d love to stay here again.

Highly impressed!!!

This was by far the best vacation rental property we have ever stayed in. The host has put an enormous amount of time and effort to think of all details big and small to ensure a wonderful stay. The property was gorgeous, home was immaculate inside and out, and host was very prompt with communication.

Anniversary Get Away

My Wife and I stayed at Riverside Relaxer Cottage and the whole home was so beautiful - The Owner Welcomed us with a cute sign telling us Happy Anniversary. The Cottage was immaculate and the Decorations and details were so awesome - The Owner has thought of EVERYTHING you would ever need while staying away out of Town! Hi there, my name is Tiffany, and I have been living in Macon County, NC for the past 6 years & have been coming to this beautiful area since childhood. After having children we started realizing staying in a hotel room just wasn’t as fun or comfortable as it once was so we started renting homes while vacationing…. After staying in some amazing and not so amazing places and my background in real estate and interiors, I decided to start hosting myself. This house is very special to me. Believe it or not this house was built in 1925, in the Spring of 2022, when driving past as I had for months and months I noticed a for sale sign. Before ever stepping foot inside I submitted an offer, which obviously was accepted.

In the months that followed, a full renovation, restoration, and renewing of this little River Farmhouse ensued. It is now ready to share, enjoy this amazing rare little river house. It’s a great location to enjoy the sights and sounds of beautiful Western North Carolina. With the gorgeous updated decor and furnishings, its relaxing surroundings and convenient location close to some favorite western NC attractions. Riverside Relaxer is perfect for those wanting to make memories, relax, and reconnect. Families, friends, couples, groups, vendors or buyers for the Gem Show, explorers, those seeking relaxation and adventure, pet friendly with accommodations for 6.

Riverside Relaxer is in Franklin, located in Macon County, NC. In the area of Cowee, with views of the Little Tennessee River. Paved roads with easy access and reachable with any vehicle. The sights and sounds of the beautiful river from the home and wrap around deck. Conveniently located 7 mins from Downtown Franklin, 25 mins to Sylva, 28 mins to Western North Carolina University, 35 mins to Highlands, Bryson City, and Cherokee.
