Thanks for your feedback. We are very sorry if you have had a bad experience while staying with us. Based on your comments, especially the bad smell outside of the apartment, we don't think the rating (2 out of 5 stars) is fair. As we live in the same house, we did not smell anything special during your stay; for sure nothing from the bins which are closed. It might be that the smell came from the manure in the fields as you suspected, especially in the night. However we as hosts can not be made responsible for this. Still we are always available during the stay of our guests to react on any inconvenience or issue they might face. We are renting our apartment now for many years and our guests always found the place wonderful (see reviews - also in other portals). We understand this is a matter of taste: Things that suits one person might not please another. However the feedback which we can not really understand is about the space and distance to Munich city center: The apartment is considered as very spacious for a vacation accommodation. The kitchen is 14 m2. Depending on how the dinning table is placed and how many people are sitting at the table it can become tight to move around indeed. I don't think standing up to open the fridge is a major problem and leads to questioning the spaciousness of the apartment. Regarding the distance to the city center, it is stated in the ad that our guests would need around 25 min with car and 25 min with public transportation AFTER a ride of 5 min to the train station in order to reach city center; so in total the journey of around 40 min is required to reach Marienplatz. Not sure if there was any issue or misunderstanding in this matter. Again, we are available for our guests especially DURING their stay to address any concern. In any way, we are thankful for any feedback.
