Light Filled Century Old Home Near CSU & Old Town

Sunny main floor of house on Laporte Ave! Only a couple blocks to Little Restaurant and Beaver's Market and just a bit further to City Park and the Poudre River Trail. Close to CSU! The Downtown area is about a mile and a nice walk through historic neighborhoods. Don't forget about the Saturday Farmer's Market which runs March - October!

The 100+ year old house still maintains a lot of original charm and is being lovingly renovated bit by bit. The two bedrooms (king/queen) are set up with comfort in mind and the full bath has everything you need for your stay. A spacious living area provides comfortable seating and a tv for relaxing and enjoying your vacation. An enclosed porch is a nice place to enjoy the cool evenings and a futon/sofa can be used as additional sleeping space during warmer months. The eat in kitchen is stocked for meal preparation and a shared washer/dryer is available for use.

The shard backyard boasts beautiful fruit trees with apples, pears and plums and patio seating for relaxing. Off street parking available.

This is a shared house with a long term tenant in the basement and an upstairs studio space. All have separate, secure entrances. No parties and quiet hours apply. Owner is frequently onsite or available at a moment's notice for anything but will always respect your privacy and space.

We have stayed at many, many VRBOs and this one has to be the best-managed property yet. Thoughtful nightlights, good parking, perfect communications, ultra-clear instructions. Loved it. Also loved the cushy towels and sleep noise machines for each bedroom.

It is a charming VRBO with a wonderful enclosed porch offering a view of the world going by. The place was comfortable with attention to details including basics - salt, pepper, sugar, coffee and creamer . It is in a marvelous location with a two block walk to the Fort Collins food co-op. The owner was was charming and very responsive. The book of information.

The home is clean, well appointed and spacious. The check in and out process was easy. The quality of the linens and towels was excellent. We appreciated the little things too, like Kleenex, coffee creamer etc. The air conditioning unit kept the place at a perfect temperature and there were units in the bedrooms as well to use as needed. The bathroom remodel is awesome, the counters are high and the water pressure and spa shower were just right. We loved the sun porch in the mornings for coffee and reading. The couch and chair in the great room are very comfortable and the TV was easy to use. Great location, close to Old Town and not far from CSU campus. Parking next to entrance was easy. We highly recommend renting this charming house!

We had a wonderful stay. Rooms were good size and were comfortable. Loved the sunroom! The neighborhood is so pretty and was walking distance to the city park which allowed us to walk to the fireworks display. Very enjoyable stay!

Great, quiet space

Inside of the property was clean and cozy. It was the perfect place for relatives to stay. It is within walking distance to City Park and Old Town.

Excellent place to stay

It’s just as described with amenities, size, location and the place was so clean and so homey. We had four adults staying and we were all impressed. Great Wi-Fi and reasonable walking distance to old downtown. The communication with owners was great. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I enjoy staying in VRBO's because it gives me a better sense of what the area and community are really like. I'm so happy to be a host and give travelers a taste of life in Fort Collins!

This is my favorite area of Fort Collins. It's walkable or a quick bike to Downtown, CSU, City Park or hop on the Poudre Trail and in a traditional neighborhood with old houses.
