Bethesda Oasis | Lakeview Cabin at Bethesda Lake Resort

Located near Mena, Arkansas, Bethesda Oasis is part of Bethesda Lake Resort & Cabins, one of the most beautiful mountain resort destinations in the Ouachita Mountains.

This spacious 2.5-story lakeview cabin is one of the larger cabins at the resort and comfortably sleeps up to 16 guests, making it perfect for family vacations, group getaways, and outdoor adventure trips.

Guests will enjoy stunning views of heavily stocked Bethesda Lake and the surrounding Ouachita Mountains, along with a wide variety of activities right outside the cabin.

The property features complimentary kayaks, a private hot tub, video arcade, fire pit, and cornhole, giving guests plenty of ways to relax and have fun during their stay. Fishing, swimming, hiking, and kayaking are all just steps from the cabin.

Sleeping Arrangements

Bethesda Oasis features 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms plus additional sleeping spaces:

These spaces provide comfortable accommodations for up to 16 guests.

Outdoor Adventure

ATV riders will appreciate the abundant trailer parking and ride-in access to the famous Wolf Pen Gap trail system just down the road, offering hundreds of miles of riding throughout the Ouachita Mountains.

Guests can start their mornings with coffee on the porch overlooking the lake, spend the day exploring the mountains or enjoying the water, and relax in the evening around the fire pit or hot tub under the stars.

Bethesda Oasis is also conveniently located just 10 minutes from Mena, where you’ll find great restaurants, grocery stores, and supplies.

ATV Wolf Pen Gap Ride

This is a great place to stay. This is our annual family get together to spend a few days away from home and ride ATVS through the Wolf Pen Gap.

We came with three other couples to ride ATVs through the Wolf Pen Gap trail system. The house was exactly as it looked online and it was perfect for every couple! It was very clean when we got there and very well stocked. The beds were very comfortable. I never heard anyone complain about their nights rest. The hot tub was a big hit also!The trails were easy to get to and we had a great time!! We are already talking about our next trip to stay in this house!

We’ll be coming back

This is our second time staying on the property. A few years ago we came without our kids and this time we brought the whole family and the kiddos had a blast! Their lake if fully stocked and everyone caught something a few times. We love how comfy their beds and pillows are! We’ll definitely be back!

We had the absolute best time staying at Oasis — it was pure magic! As a real estate broker, I’m always looking at the quality of finishings, and let me tell you… this place is impeccable. Every detail was beautifully thought out, from the high-end materials to the warm, inviting design.But what really won me over? The functionality. As a mom of three, having two full sets of washers and dryers was a total game changer — it made our stay feel effortless. We were able to truly relax and enjoy the trip without the usual chaos that comes with traveling as a family.Oasis struck the perfect balance between luxury and comfort. About Your Hosts

Bethesda Oasis is part of Bethesda Lake Resort & Cabins, a mountain destination created and owned by Michael and Jessica Myers.

Bethesda Lake has a rich history dating back nearly a century. The lake was constructed in 1925 and was intended to be the centerpiece of a resort development that included lakeside recreation and plans for a golf course. Unfortunately, the Great Depression halted those plans before the resort could be completed.

A few years later, the Watkins family purchased the property and operated what became known as Lake Bethesda Resort, building small cabins and opening the lake for seasonal swimming. The resort served as a local gathering place for many years before closing in the late 1960s.

Over the following 50 years, the property slowly fell into disrepair. The cabins were removed, maintenance declined, and the natural beauty of the lake and surrounding land became hidden beneath thick overgrowth.

In 2019, Michael and Jessica Myers—owners of Bethesda Springs Properties—purchased Bethesda Lake and the surrounding land with a vision to restore the property and bring new life to this historic destination.

Working alongside talented local craftsmen, they began restoring the land and constructing cabins designed to showcase the beauty of the lake and surrounding Ouachita Mountains.

Today Bethesda Lake Resort & Cabins spans more than 300 acres and features a growing collection of cabins around the lake. Additional mountaintop cabins are planned with views rivaling some of the most scenic mountain destinations in the country.

Bethesda Oasis welcomed its first guests in 2022 and was designed to provide a comfortable and memorable stay in this beautiful setting.

Michael and Jessica invite you to experience the property for yourself. The photos capture some of the beauty—but the peaceful setting and views of Bethesda Lake are something you truly have to experience in person.
