Beautiful 'Old Florida'' style beach house offers ground level living and gorgeous Gulf views in the popular East Gulf Beaches neighborhood, private heated pool (for a fee) and a private boardwalk to the sugar white sand beaches of St. George Island! The charming interiors of this vacation home feature an open living/dining/kitchen area with fabulous coastal decor and accommodations for 14. This home is pet friendly, so bring your whole crew (dogs only)! This Gulf Beaches neighborhood is popular with Forgotten Coast visitors with its 'Old Florida' vibe and relaxed atmosphere. SoulShine is close to Island shops, restaurants, nightlife, St. George Lighthouse Museum and playground, fishing pier, multi-use path and State Park! Shopping, dining, and entertainment options abound in historic Apalachicola, just 30 minutes by car.
Enjoy fabulous Beachfront living at SoulShine, whether relaxing by the private pool or swimming or paddle boarding in the clear Gulf waters, you'll be in your happy place at this wonderful vacation home!

OUTSIDE
SoulShine features covered concrete parking, a fish cleaning area, park-style grill, sparkling private pool (heated for a fee) with spa style seating and private boardwalk to St. George Island's award winning, unspoiled beaches. This is an amazing Island location with convenient ground level beach living.

INSIDE
A beautifully decorated open living/dining/kitchen area features high vaulted ceilings, lots of natural light and beach views. SoulShine has a soothing coastal vibe and room for your group to relax and enjoy life on Island time. The living area is a perfect gathering spot and offers lots of comfy seating, and the sleeper sofa (queen) offers an additional sleeping space. The 55" flat screen TV (cable) is perfect for movie nights and watching sports! The dining area is decorated with shiplap which extends the coastal chic vibe. The large dining table seats 10 and features an elegant chandelier above. More seating for 4 at meal time is available at the large kitchen island. SoulShine's kitchen is stocked with everything needed to prepare beachside feasts, stainless appliances, a Keurig, lots of fabulous counter space and coastal views. The large center island is great for visiting with the chef and relaxing with your morning coffee, taking in the sounds of the surf and watching the rising sun. The laundry room is adjacent to the kitchen area. Sleeping accommodations: South facing queen master bedroom with high ceilings, flat screen TV and stunning Gulf views, the bunk room (3 twins, 1 queen) with flat screen TV and North facing king master bedroom with flat screen TV, seating area and views of the private pool area. Finally, the Gulf facing king bedroom has a flat screen TV, amazing views of the Gulf and shares the full bathroom in the hall.

Bed Sizes: 2 Kings, 1 Queen, 2 Triple Bunk Beds (Twin over queen), 1 Queen Sleeper Sofa

Pets are welcome with a $150 fee per pet. Optional pool heating is available for $75 per night.

Our family of 8 had an amazing time in this home. It was a great location. Right on the beach & just a short golf cart or bike ride to all the store's & restaurants. House was clean & kitchen well stocked. Recommend this home.

Great location, beautiful weather. Soulshine was a great place to stay. Four couples had plenty of room and had the best time. The kitchen was fully stocked. The outdoor shower was fantastic! We loved it.

Soul Shine is a beautiful property on SGI that is more than accommodating for a family vacation. The beach is amazing, the Island is relaxing and still close to PCB and other site seeing. Would highly recommend and visit again

Wonderful beach house, we enjoyed our stay and will be hoping to come back this summer.

Very elegant, well decorated and comfortable. Loved the all-white lovely linens and the spacious kitchen with its large central island. Right on the beautiful beach, with a private walkway, very comfortable with ramps to make it accessible to all. Lovely swimming pool, lots of pool and beach furniture. Highly recommend this wonderful beach house.

This was our first stay at Soulshine and everyone enjoyed the layout of the house on all one level with the small children. Also very easy access to the beach. The house was clean and the kitchen had everything you would need to cook a meal if you wanted. My husband loved the grill outside and the fish cleaning station. It is a home we would return to in the future.

Fabulous Fall Break

Beautiful place. No stairs, which is great for grandparents and bad knees. Only 35 steps from the back door to the beach sand! We had a great time! Maybe think about installing window screens water side and a rear screen door just to enjoy the fall breeze and sounds of the gulf from inside.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our rental, SoulShine, was right on the beach which was so convenient for our family with young children. We also loved the private pool which was large enough for all of us to enjoy at one time. We liked that each bedroom had a bath and the open living space. The outdoor shower was also very handy. We loved the carport to keep our bikes and other gear shaded. We loved the elevated chairs out back to watch the beach and ocean even late at night. The area where we stayed was perfect in that it was convenient to all the shops and activities but in a quiet neighborhood. Overall, we love St.George island and will return for future family vacations.

Right on the beach & close enough you can hear the waves at night. Walking distance to the bars/restaurants-if you don’t mind a little walking. Always fun to rent a golf cart though. . I would definitely return and recommend to others!!

Splurge & get the pool heated! Rent a golf cart & enjoy the most relaxing vacation home!! This house is magical & has provided great memories!

Beautiful property, great location

My family enjoyed our stay at this property. It was spacious, just steps to the beach, and walking distance to “downtown”. There were plenty of beach towels and it was nice that we got a credit for beach gear. The listing says there are three king beds, but there’s actually only one - the other two are queens. There are no cooking basics (olive oil, salt, etc) which was a bummer, and having only one roll of toilet paper seemed scant for an otherwise well appointed house. It was really nice to have the pool, though the cost for heating it was expensive ($150). The hot water heater is not large enough to accommodate several showers at once, and two of the four showers are very small. Overall though I would recommend this property to others and would stay again!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Just got back and had a great time! House is beautiful and property management super responsive about a couple of small issues. 2 major issues with this house in my opinion. First you should disclose 2 of the bathroom situations. Smallest showers I’ve ever seen! Ever! Average size adult couldn’t bend over if they dropped something. Literally no room to move or wash off in the shower. My adult son had to sit on a toilet sideways because not enough leg room to sit straight. Second is the outside area. There is an outdoor shower that is nice but it is full of sand. That is where the hose is to wash off from the beach and impossible to get sand off and not track it into house. I did vacuum a couple of times because I felt so bad about the sand but it really couldn’t be helped. The decor is beautiful and open kitchen/island/dining/and living area is lovely. There is a second fridge in the laundry that is super convenient. But to list as a 4 bathroom house is a stretch with those 2 bathrooms. Very inconvenient.

It is well stocked with plenty of dishes for cooking. The home had plenty of room for my husband and me and the 7 teenagers with us! The deck area is perfect and we were just steps from the beautiful beach. Check in was simple and the home was clean and beautiful. I highly recommend.
