George and Barbra are excellent host. Easy to communicate with and gave recommendations. The location is perfect. Restaurants, coffee, pastry shops right outside the door. Convenient and within walking distance to attractions and public transportation. The apartment is updated and comfortable. Everything you need they have provided. Would recommend staying here!

The location of the apartment can not be beat. It’s about a block to St Stephen’s and just blocks away from public transit. It has everything you will need for cooking, sleeping, chilling…whatever you want. Great communication with George and Barbara too!

Amazing location, what a find!

Easy check in, clean and pleasant apartment with plenty of space for four. The location was unbeatable and we LOVED our stay. Will come back to the same place on our next trip to Budapest!

Wonderful Apartment

This very clean and spacious apartment was perfrct for our stay one week stay in Budapest. We were just around the corner from the Basilica and 5 minutes from the metro.Our hosts were excellent in their .communication at all times.

Could not have been better!

From our arrival to our departure everything was better than expected. This condo is located near St Stephen’s church. Public transit was easy to access and there was no shortage of restaurants, from Michelin star and everything in between. Barbara and George were unfailingly helpful. The condo was tastefully decorated and bright, the kitchen well equipped. Nothing was lacking, we highly recommend this lovely spot.

Well-located and comfortable flat

Our family of three was satisfied with our stay, although the multitude of large print, all-cap, 8.5x11" instructional signs posted all over the flat were somewhat off-putting and made us feel less than fully welcome - while the flat was comfortable, we probably wouldn't rent it again because of all of this messaging. We stayed during a heat wave, and an additional fan in the flat (we found one tabletop fan) would be welcome (especially given the instructions about limiting air conditioner use). The flat was clean and is really well-situated in an active area within walking distance to several key touristic sites, public transit, and many, many restaurants. Check-in was mostly problem-free, although there was an extended back-and-forth about finding a way to provide photos of our identification, which were stressful to navigate while in transit without consistent wifi. Overall, it was a satisfactory stay and I could recommend it to others looking for a rental in the area.

Budapest adventure

Excellent property with great location, close to everything. Best communication from any owner I have worked with, helped with activity suggestions and secured private driver for transportation to airport. Highly recommend (the washer and dryer are a big plus) and will stay again when back in Budapest.

Fabulous place

We came to Budapest for a few days before our River Cruise. We are so fortunate to have found this apartment. First of all, George was so helpful. He was prompt in answering every question I had. He even arranged transportation for us from the airport. Clear directions were given regarding the check in process. The apartment was so clean, beautiful and incredibly comfortable. The location was perfect. We were able to get to the places we wanted to see with ease. If we are fortunate enough to return to Budapest, this is where we would stay!!

Outstanding location

Location could not be better: Literally steps to the basilica, Christmas market, Ferris wheel, etc. Metro stop is only a block away which made using public transportation a breeze. Property is very clean, comfortable, and stylishly decorated. Hosts were extremely helpful. We highly recommend.

Apartment was updated tastefully and very well equipped. Location was perfect, with easy, walkable access to many of the most visited sites and areas of Buda and pest... And very close to a main metro stop...

Great location

Lovely property. Don't be put off by the first entrance through the big wooden door. The apartment is really nice. Great location. The only problem we had was with the apartments lock on the street door. Very difficult to unlock or lock. We had to call to say we couldn't get in on our arrival. Barbara came and managed to open the door. But we still had great difficulty for the rest of our stay. I believe a new lock is required. We had to climb out of the bedroom window one morning because we couldn't unlock the door from the inside. Don't let that put you off though I'm sure George will sort it out. It was a lovely stay and we really enjoyed Budapest. I would recommend the apartment but hopefully the lock issue will get resolved.

Great place for two couples

The flat was a perfect place from which to explore Budapest for a few days. Check-in process was well explained ahead of time and worked perfectly. Two bedrooms on opposite sides of the flat provided enough privacy for each couple, and the communal areas were room enough to eat breakfast and sit together between outings. Host was very helpful with suggestions and with with arranging tours or transfers. Flat is an easy walk to the river front and a short walk to a key subway stop with three intersecting routes converging.

Perfect for us!

We were staying here before a river cruise. The property was great for our group, and the location could not be beat. The owners provided all the necessities, so when you walked in you felt ready to start vacation. George and Barbara were very responsive throughout the process. Will definitely recommend to others coming to Budapest. And we will plan to book again when we return.

Fantastic Stay in Budapest

The property was wonderful. We were so excited to stay there as the pictures looked great and it didn’t disappoint. The apt was well laid out - 2 nice size bedrooms off a main room. Having 2 bathrooms made getting around in the am so much easier. Really nice closets we were able to use too. Full size washer and dryer. They were nicely stocked too - extra toiletries all the pots pans and glasses you need plus a lot of nice extras like umbrellas raincoats and even slippers for the baths. Lots of great room in the bathroom I used - a great shelf to put things which is so helpful. Room darkening shades. It’s on the 3rd floor but has an elevator!! And after 2 weeks of climbing stairs that was much appreciated. Location is fantastic. Right around the corner from St Stephens’s and tons of restaurants in the surrounding streets. Super convenient to metro. Check in was self check in. That was how it was on our whole trip. Generally like the concept better. They have very good very detailed instructions in the apt. Very helpful. George was a great host. Super responsive and let us check in early. We also opted for his airport transportation which worked fantastic and put our mind at ease. Overall fantastic
