Firewood is not provided, guests will have to bring their own.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Paradise on Lake Anna

The house was beautiful and well maintained. The location on the lake was ideal. Friends living on the lake with a boat were easily able to find the house and dock their boat to pick us up for a fun day of boating. Would definitely stay here again.

Great Lakehouse

The lake house was exactly as advertised. It was well stocked and clean. The beds were comfortable. The backyard is well maintained and shaded. The dock and paddleboat were well used. We will be back.

Great Lake—house has potential but not great

We love a lake getaway and Lake Anna was great. The house however needs a lot of work and tlc before it could/should be rented. Great potential and location is fabulous! Due to the uncleanliness we feel we should be refunded the cleaning fees on both ends—pre and after our stay. Thanks!

Location was great. The house has some good structural issues-rain poured in, most of the door locks didn’t work and there was the absolute minimum furnishings. Basement had an unusually high amount of bugs. House needs some maintenance attention

The space was great, not enough furniture although for a group. Mouse droppings found throughout kitchen. Little critter got.into the chip bags in the box several mornings. Although the house and property were great, it just needs some modern updates, and attention to details.

our visit

There were broken screen doors, locks on one door broken, screen door torn. Garage was pretty messy and dirty, decks were filled with leaves and need to be blown off. The boat area needs repair. Especially the ladder to climb up - looks like it is about to come out of the wood. Otherwise, loved the view and was comfortable.

What a view!!!

What a view!! Our stay was the end of April. Warm days but cool nights. AC worked like a charm! WI FI / Internet was fantastic for the most part. 2 small but quick times it faded but came right back again. House was pretty close to how it was described. Deck was huge and had one table with umbrella and 6 chairs, but nothing else. Gas grill was pretty big! We were 3 senior citizens, 3 thirty somethings and a 2 yr old. One end of deck had a gate but the other end did not. We had to use another big chair to keep the youngster from falling down the steps. We were unable to find a fire pit. There was kindling in the yard but no pit for a fire.Lots of bedrooms with plenty of room in all of them. Master suite very nice! Because the nights were cool we looked for an extra blanket but found none. Couches were huge but very deep. Us seniors found them to be a little uncomfortable after awhile.Our big inconvenience was with the steps downstairs. We brought a baby gate with us to block off the baby, but it was inconvenient with people going up and down to the bedrooms/game room. A built in gate would have wonderful to find. Kitchen was well stocked. Limited spices understandingly. All in all we loved this place! The view to the lake, the huge (let's have a dance party!) deck was wonderful and well lit at night...Our Vacasa liaison was quick with any answers we had which was so refreshing!

Highly recommended, stunning view and super comfy!

My stay at this lake house cottage was nothing short of magical. From the moment I arrived, I was swept away by the natural beauty and serenity that surrounded me. Breathtaking Lake Views: The first thing that strikes you is the stunning view of the lake. The cottage is perched right at the water's edge, and the sight of the shimmering lake with the sun setting in the backdrop is an image that will forever be etched in my memory. Cozy and Comfortable: The cottage itself is incredibly cozy and inviting. The furnishings are comfortable, and the decor is charming. It's like a home away from home, but with a much better view! Well-Equipped Kitchen: The kitchen had everything I needed, and more. I enjoyed preparing meals while looking out at the lake. Relaxing Outdoor Spaces: The deck and patio provided the perfect place to relax and soak in the natural beauty. I spent my mornings sipping coffee while watching the wildlife and my evenings stargazing by the fire pit. Private Dock: Having access to a private dock was a bonus. I was able to swim and kayak right from the property. It's perfect for water lovers. In summary, this lake house cottage is a hidden gem. I feel truly lucky to have found it, and I can't wait to return. If you're seeking a peaceful lakeside retreat, I can't recommend this place highly enough. Five stars don't do it justice!

Horrible management great location

Third time renting from Vacasa in as many months and they never cease to disappoint you. You will receive at least two dozen texts and emails all filled with nonsense stuff and messages from property managers who are actually not available. This time again we were sent incomplete checkin instructions with only the gate code but no way to actually get into the house . After several failed attempts at tryin to reach the manager , finally got through to someone on chat who proceeded to tell me about this very well hidden and apparently a confidential lock box somewhere in the property to be located by the me as if it were a scavenger hunt. There was no mention of it anywhere in the checkin instructions online. Also the dock(primary reason for renting this place) is in horrible condition with nails popping out all over the place. So dangerous. Other than that the house has a great location. Kitchen is moderately equipped.. could be better . Inside of the house is also very nice and convenient. Garage and driveway are all very good and accessible.

Stay away

Gate code did not work. Took 35 minutes to get the new one. Each guest allotted exactly 1 washcloth for the entire stay. Not enough dishes in the kitchen for more than 1 meal, but we were only given 3 dishwasher tablets. We had to buy more. When my daughter, who is 6 months pregnant, went to bed the first night, the bed collapsed (she’s not a big person) and they had to change rooms. My other daughter went to bed and theirs also almost collapsed. They found it was being held up by boards and bricks, but only on 3 corners. The pavers on the walkway out back are all loose. I watched my 2 year old grandson walk up them and saw one come up off the ground. There was painters tape still attached to the lights under the kitchen cabinet, the door lock fell out when we opened a door, many of the doors stick and are hard to open, there are torn screens everywhere, the kitchen is lacking supplies, all the cabinetry is worn and the nails on the dock are all sticking up for someone to trip over. It was raining and we went out to a winery. When we returned, I found the roof in the ‘master’ bath had leaked and there was water all over my toiletries and my bag was ruined. The house looks like it hasn’t had anything done to it since it was built. This house should NOT be rented to anyone until it has had some major improvements. I am seriously baffled by the good reviews this place received. I feel like I was taken advantage of. I am out a significant amount of money and vacation ruined.

Beautiful property with large yard, wonderful dock area with evening lighting and nice kayak launching area. Large house where there was room to spread out, some could go to bed early while others could stay up late playing games. Even did some moonlight fishing! Very nice clean grill to use to make big dinners! Close to General Store and the Cove Convenience Store.

Tranquility!

This place was so peaceful! I had a great time here and wish I could stay longer. The property is very well maintained and the interior has everything I could ask for. Such a great place to visit and just relax. The water view gives you so much calmness especially in these hectic times.
