Lake House near Big Bear Resort & Marina, Malcolm Creek Marina and King Creek

The whole family is invited! This 3 bedroom 2 bathroom lake home on 2 acres has plenty of space for all. Enjoy the spacious, open living area with oversized sectional sofa and and fully stocked kitchen with lots of space to entertain. The covered back porch is our favorite place for morning coffee or an afternoon bbq while watching our favorite tv sports and the backyard wildlife. All of this within a few minutes of three different lake marinas.... Big Bear Resort, Malcolm Creek and King Creek.

Outdoor Cabin- extra space for the kids to gather; heated and cooled; air mattresses with a couch; no bathroom- this cabin is only available with a minimum 4 night stay.

Fire Pit- don't forget the s'mores; feel free to use the firewood laying around there but can't promise there will be any.

King Creek at back of property; the creek is accessible to King Creek Cove March-September; great for fishing and just to relax by the water; we have one kayak to use- please return to cabin area after using

Huge attached 2 car garage with a ping pong table, corn hole boards, dart board and a smart tv to watch your favorite sports- sorry the golf cart is not available for guests to use.

Summer Family Fishing

The property was wonderful. The house was well stocked and the furnishings were comfortable. The teens enjoyed with garage space gaming area. The outdoor patio with fire pit and TV was great. The large back yard with creek view was amazing. Deer were in the yard each morning and evening. The kids enjoyed kayaking in the creek during the evening. Very nice boat launch within a few tenths of a mile of the lake. Plenty of parking for our two boats. Will definitely stay again. Thanks

Fishing trip

This was a great place. Close to a marina to put in boat for fishing, close to restaurants & grocery. Absolutely stunning house! We couldnt have been happier and the host always got back to quickly with any questions I had.

Patties Settlement, Lake, and Elk

We came to visit Patties Settlement but got a lot more out of it. The property is nice and quiet and on a small creek. Nice outside spot to chill, we watch the Jake Paul and Tyson fight outside. We did not make use of the ping pong table or dart board. Bring your own coffee, and seasoning. Place was nice and met our needs for sure. Host were very responsive and kind.

Great place to vacation!

This property was just like the pictures, clean, very nicely kept, quiet, and off the road. It is a good location to marinas and other attractions. If you're visiting after Labor Day the lake water is low, and some marinas won't rent anymore. The host was accommodating and responded quickly. The only recommendation I would make is curtains on the windows. The bedrooms and front room window do have blinds, but nothing on the backdoor or kitchen window. We just like extra privacy when it's dark out, but this does not make me take away any stars. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend this rental. We had a great stay!

Perfect for the family

Stayed a week with my family. The house was very clean and well maintained. The internet was slow which made logging on to stream channels difficult. Location was fantastic, very close the Big Bear Marina and the public beach and playground.

Excellent property

This getaway is super clean, in an extremely quiet neighborhood (although sitting out back you would never know you were in a neighborhood), on a small creek for a picturesque water view and finally down the road from picnic tables and seats on the lake. Everything listed was exactly how we found it. Missy was extremely pleasant and answered any questions we had. We would and will stay there again.

Great place for families

We had a great time together as a family. Lots of space to hang out and let the kids play, have a fire, play ping pong or darts. It was set-back on a calm road, so pretty private. But at the same time its conveniently located close to the lake. Before arrival, we had a couple questions for the host and she responded quickly and very helpfully. Would recommend!

Great memorable family vacation

This property was fabulous! It was clean, spacious, well equipped, and very entertaining. We had so much fun and our kids and grandkids will remember fishing, kayaking, playing darts, ping pong, and going to the nearby beach and playground. We would definitely come back again.

Family meet up

The house is nice and roomy. Plenty of space to accommodate a large family of 9 in the house alone. We didnt use the smaller one room house we saw in the pictures because there was really no need. The beauty of the back yard with the green grass and canopy of large oak trees was my favorite. I spent most of my time on the back porch while my husband and the kids fished off the bank of the stream. I will be back for more R&R with friends and leave the kids at home. Great place but dont forget to bring your own bath soap or shower gel like I did. There were small hotel soaps (Thank you Missy) and a dollar general close by that saved the day. A lot of attractions were closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. We enjoyed our stay and we look forward to a return trip.

What a beautiful time...thank you!

This house is located in such a serene, country setting...it was not only very nice, but it was VERY clean! We prepared a meal for some dear friends who came to visit one evening...and found everything we needed to do so. If we had a question, the host was ALWAYS quick to respond to and answer any questions we had. We enjoyed the roomy house, the nice decor and all the comforts it presented. It was perfect...giving us a wonderful time to simply relax and catch up on some good communication. It was so nice to wake up to the beauty of the quiet scenery. We also had the joy of watching four young deer bounce through the yard and go down to the creek for a drink...while sitting at the table for supper one evening. The pictures online are very accurate and we were so thankful we had the time to enjoy this wonderful house & such a serene setting. Thank you!

Great Thanksgiving VRBO for family

My 86 year old grandmother said it was the best Thanksgiving ever! Great, large ranch was perfect for our family Thanksgiving. Ping Pong was a big hit as well as large kitchen for cooking and outdoor TV was also a hit. The backyard is great for exploring the creek and my 7 and 5 year old were excited to see a beaver dam. Thank you for sharing your home!

Perfect

We rented this property for my Aunt's 72nd birthday. We are from TN and needed a location for a quick weekend trip girls getaway! We decided to see the festival of lights at Patti's in Grand Rivers! This property is 23 minutes away from Patti's which was perfect for us! It was 3 adult women and a child under 2 staying here and we felt very safe in the neighborhood. It has a LARGE secluded back yard! There were deer and squirrels running everywhere. We did not get to enjoy the outdoor patio due to it being very windy but it was a very nice set up. Although this property is in a neighborhood, you feel like you are in the woods. As far as the inside of the home, beautiful. Very nice and clean. We would definitely stay here again. The only things I could say something "bad" about is that the unit kicking on for heat is very loud and the dishwasher is also noisy but those are minor things. The closest place to eat is 3 min away for a quick bite also! Everything else is at least 15 minutes away, which didn't bother us at all. Overall, it is beautiful, clean and peaceful! Thanks for sharing your home with us for my Aunt's birthday weekend! We had a great time!

Gorgeous Creekside Getaway

We rented this house for Murray State Parent's Weekend. This home was absolutely perfect! So much better than staying at a hotel with limited entertaining space and having to go out for meals. This home literally had it all! Gorgeous rural location just 32 minutes away from Murray, KY. The garage with ping pong table, dart board, and big screen TV was a favorite hang out location for evenings spent with our daughter and her friends. There is a back patio and screened porch where we spent time watching deer and squirrels play in the backyard. The large screen tv on the patio is a great feature! We also utilized the bbq egg for dinners outside. Plenty of firewood was available for use in the large fire pit. The open layout of the kitchen, dining room and living room was great for hanging out in while we prepared meals. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you can imagine for cooking! The owners thought of everything. Plenty of plates, pans, and even mugs for drinking coffee brewed by the Kurig. The master bedroom was gorgeous and airy with an extremely comfortable mattress. The attached bath with walk in shower allowed for privacy. The main bath features a jacuzzi tub... this was an added bonus that I loved! In the large backyard there is a creek and lots of trees that allow privacy and peaceful walks in the early mornings. It is also conveniently located just a short distance from the lake. This home is a hidden jewel! We will definitely be staying here again! Also if you are currious about armadillos... there is one that visits the front yard after dark. 😁
