Pleasant View - A brand new riverfront getaway!

RIVERFRONT Cottage-Located directly along the banks of the Allegheny River this brand new cottage is sure to provide a peaceful getaway! Relax inside, on the covered porch overlooking the river, or at the fire pit enjoying a beautiful evening. Take advantage of the private kayak launch for river access and the backyard propane grill! Our cottage is conveniently located in the ANF for every type of outdoor adventure! River fun, hiking, mountain biking, Kinzua Dam area and more are all close by.
The space
This beautiful river front cottage is a brand new build for 2022 and is located just steps from the Allegheny River in the heart of the Allegheny National Forest. Enjoy the amazing views from the covered deck or from the living room looking out through the river facing picture window. The deck equipped with a pub table along with a propane grill and fire pit in the back yard. The absolute perfect space to sit, relax, and enjoy the solitude of the river.

Sleeps 4 with two bedrooms - The master is equipped with a queen bed, closet, 43” Roku tv, and connecting half bath. The second bedroom also has a queen bed, closet and 43” Roku tv.

Custom kitchen cabinetry with granite countertops and all new stainless steel appliances are ready for whatever cuisine you can think of. The kitchen island is the perfect place to gather for a meal, a family game, or just to sit and chat while cooking.

The living room is furnished with a full size couch and love seat, stylishly decorated boasting a 55” Roku tv.

The well maintained yard is the perfect area for cornhole, can jam, or any other games you and your family enjoy. Just off the yard the private kayak launch leads you directly to the waters edge to enjoy the river with your kayak, canoe, inner tube etc.

This property makes it easy to enjoy the river with its private kayak launch as well as hiking, mountain biking, and all that Warren County has to offer!
Guest access
During your stay you will have access to the entire cottage and property. A Ring doorbell camera is mounted at the front door with view of the porch area and a partial view of the driveway

We truly loved this house/property! New! Clean! Cozy! The Allegheny River is your back yard. It’s truly beautiful. Kitchen was perfect for cooking ( *needs a new light under the stove, really no biggie just an FYI) . Loved the decor inside. If we could pick this house up a put it on our property we would. I want to come back again in the summer and kayak. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Excellent property on all counts. Immaculate, peaceful, fully supplied. Comfortable bed, beautiful shower, high-end kitchen. Also, a well-designed home, with all the right storage and fixtures. Every time we walked in the door the view out the back took my breath away. And, while our weather was much cooler than we anticipated, we spent lovely late afternoons on the deck with a bottle of wine and potato chips :-).As another reviewer noted, this property isn't secluded, but you certainly feel absolute peace and quiet.Our main activity was hiking, and the Allegheny National Forest didn't disappoint. We enjoyed it more than the National Park, New River Gorge, in West Virginia.This property is well-located to get to several of the main hikes, including Minister Creek (our favorite) and the Morrison Trails (also fabulous). It's a 30-40 minute drive to each of these hikes, but the drives are lovely and what we would expect in such a large area. Do be sure to download both Google maps and trail maps before leaving the property. (which, by the way, has great connectivity).

Pleasant view did not disappoint!

The property was absolutely beautiful! The weather was phenomenal. The cottage was located right on the river, so we could relax while watching the wildlife, boaters, and kayaks go by. We started each morning having our coffee right down by the water, watching the fog lift off. Having lunch on the back deck was perfect. We also enjoyed an evening around the fire pit. The house was amazing, well appointed and exceptionally clean. Everything we needed was there. Our hosts were accommodating beyond measure, even making sure to set us up with some items that we had forgotten to pack! Location, location, location! We will definitely go back again and spend more time.

Excellent cottage

This is are 2nd year straight staying at the cottage. We will continue to use in the future. The cottage is in the perfect location, with great views from the interior, back covered porch. Has a kayak launch which makes doing day trips on the river easy. We also had innertubes and tied off on the shore and floated. We saw lots of eagles flying around and had a male and female catch fish and eat them in are tree. We also saw deer. This year we got a chance to meet the owners of the cottage and they were extremely nice. Very cool people. There is truly not one negative thing to be said about this place.

June getaway

Stayed 3 nights with our kids and couldn't have asked for better accommodations! Cabin was beautiful, clean, and comfortable with everything we needed. The yard and view was amazing. There were recent storms and the river was pretty high and fast, so we didn't try to swim in it. Used the grill and fire pit every night. Great trip!

Relaxation on the River

We immediately felt comfortable and at home when we entered the cottage. It had everything we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. The view of the river from the living room and the deck is very pretty.

Anniversary get away

Had a great weekend celebrating our anniversary. The house was more than we anticipated! Immaculately clean! Such a nice place to be able to relax on the deck with morning coffee with the view of the river, fish from the back yard and enjoyed an evening fire. John was great with communication with me to provide recommendations for dinner & the horseback ride at Flying W Ranch. Would love to visit again in the summer months to be able to kayak.

Comfortable River Cottage on the Allegheny River

This was our 2nd trip to this well appointed, 2 bedroom cottage. Hats off to the owners of this property for all of the thought which went into the construction, furnishing and on-going upkeep of this property. You feel like you are the only ones who have ever stayed here. The cottage is spotless. A spacious deck, fire pit and private access to the Allegheny River speak for themselves. Thanks also to the owner for making available at a reasonable price well seasoned and dry firewood for the fire pit.

The place is a gem

This property is exactly as described. Very comfortable and clean. The owner is a heckuva nice guy and was genuinely caring about our experience. Not every rental is going to be perfect, but for my wife and I and our 2 boys, it was spot on and we recommend this property to anyone looking for some peace and quiet and comfort too. If you have any doubt about whether this is a place to visit, take it from us, you will not be disappointed. Thanks for everything!

The Cottage

The cottage is a beautiful comfortable home with everything needed to explore the allegheny river, dam, hiking, fishing, campfire and most of all enjoy nature sitting on the porch. For our family we all thought of and went down memory lane of our childhood of people places and things we loved and miss. The kids were happy and kept busy at a safe place to run around swim and make smores on the campfire. We all enjoyed eating together and had a stress free place to relax and feel the love that is offered to anyone open to stay and enjoy their time at the cottage. There is no place like home. Gods Country sure is part of it and angels are present for a beautiful spiritual experience that especially me and my husband enjoyed on the vacation.

Peaceful Setting

Very comfortable cottage on a beautiful spot on the Allegheny River. The host left a very comprehensive welcome booklet which was very helpful. We loved sitting on the deck watching the river. It was very peaceful.

Beautiful little house. Everything one could possibly need is there, and all in tiptop shape. Easy to park, unload, turn around etc. Beautiful river view from deck and yard. This was our second stay--almost surely not our last!

Earned the stars

All the positive reviews were true, as is the property description. The whole place is new, the view is gorgeous, you can literally throw a stone from the large deck into the river. A few things not often mentioned - the wifi is great. My wife and I had to work a few days and we could both be on video calls at the same time. The kayak launch is great - we didn't see a better set up during our paddles either up or down the river. There are a ton of outlets. 14 above the kitchen counters. I always bring a few power strips to rentals just in case but none were needed here. The table and silverware were matching sets - this was not filled with castoffs from another house. I met John when he was next door. Very nice guy, genuinely wanted us to have a great stay. This is my first review for VRBO but this place was so good, I wanted to let people know that it's legit.

Relaxing on the river.

Totally happy

Beautiful little house, immaculately clean. Everything worked. Very welcoming, as soon as we walked in, we were sold! Loved the back yard, deck, view onto river. Already planning a return visit, just have to decide whom we should invite to stay in second bedroom and share the experience.
