The property is a rustic well-loved family cabin just below the Kinzua dam. Excellent location for access to the Reservoir, Heart's Content recreation area and great hiking in the Allegheny National Forest. Kristy is responsive and the place has all the basics. Perfect if you don't feel like camping. Be prepared for minimal cell service and no WiFi.

We enjoyed our stay as the weather was excellent and the colors of the trees lovely.Plenty of places to hike and visit. The cabin was nice. We are readers so could have used better reading light. One recliner chair would not recline. We should have brought our own shower soap and dishwashing detergent.We had one day of rain that proved to be a restful interlude in our activities. Especially liked going to the Fish Hatchery that is nearby close to one side of the Kinzua Dam.

The big one recliners and the other one needs plugged in its a remote recliner and that one thing I usually dont put in there is bath soap

Our stay was just what we needed. The cabin is Rustic in an off the beaten path location. No internet, very little cell service and no TV. It had everything we needed as far as the essentials go. The kitchen was a nice size and well equipped. The bathroom is as shown and the water was hot! The bedroom was quaint. My family (me, husband, mom & the dog) had a great stay and will be back again. It was pretty cool just to walk to the river which was "right" there. On a final note, our hostess was great! Like I said we will rent there again. The Anderson Family.

If you want to get away from it all, this is the place. Close to a lot of great hiking, water activities and beautiful mountain scenery.
