Family Friendly Condo. You get beach, lagoon and pool!

Anytime is the perfect time to enjoy the gulf coast. We are located 2 miles from The Hangout. Close to all of the best seafood but away from high rises. Our oasis is located in a peaceful, less dense location on West Beach Blvd in Gulf Shores. Just 25 steps from the property to the beach access across the street. A new walking/running path along the lagoon just behind the condo takes you right to great crabbing sandbars. Beautiful ocean view from the balcony.

Great location!

We loved our stay in this condo. It was comfortable for a family of four and we loved the location - just walk across the street to the beach! Everything was clean and comfortable and there was everything we needed to cook and play and the beach. I especially appreciated beach towels because they are hard to pack. Parking is easy and I like to be on this side of Gulf Shores - it is a little less busy. The host was easy to communicate with and she answered all of my questions.

Cute

Very convenient property in proximity to the beach. Just have to cross the highway at the crosswalk at the end of the street and you're on the beach. Owner was pleasant.

Homey and comfy feel

We enjoyed our short overnight stay. The place was beautifully decorated. The bed and linens were comfy. They had every amenity we needed and more. Extra blankets in closets and boxed fans in the both rooms for noise. We would definitely stay again!

Seahorse on the Shore

Enjoyed the short walk to the beach, however we were not aware that we’d be going up/down three flights of stairs every time with wanted to go somewhere. 2 bedrooms/1 bath was perfect for our 3 person family vacation.

Seahorse condo stay

We had a nice stay, close to the beach, not to far from entertainment & restaurants, owner Melanie messaged us to see how we were doing, halfway through our stay, that's never happened before, it was nice.

Overnight stay

The property itself was nice and the photos were accurate. I was very displeased to find that animals had been there. I had a dark green sweatshirt that I threw on the floor and when I picked it up while gathering my laundry I noticed that it was covered with white fur. I have a picture but am unable to attach it. Also, the king size bed needs a new mattress. The one on it is unlevel and very uncomfortable. New pillows would be nice too. I won't be returning.

Excellent Location

We spent 10 nights and the location was perfect for us. Easy access to the beach. The property was clean, quiet and had everything we needed, Only note would be it could use some updates. I'm sure the salt air is hard on buildings, but the windows, especially bedrooms were very cloudy and could use some work. The bedrooms could also use darker shades/blinds to keep light out during the night. We would not hesitate to stay here in the future.

TLC needed ASAP!!

Furniture, mattress and all linens have seen better days. Every single room vent was covered in mold. Mattress had huge dips, pillows paper thin. Couch covered in dog hair and recliner broken. Carpet held odor. Would NOT stay here again.

Great stop by the beach!

Great place to stay if you want to be right next to the beach. We were only in town for one night, but wish we could have stayed longer. It was just a short walk across the street for beach access and close to restaurants and a grocery store. The property was clean, and it was quiet and the perfect size and location for us.

Weekend Getaway

The property was very well kept and clean! The kids loved that it was close to beach access and there was a pool close by if they chose to do that instead of the beach. Highly recommend staying here!!

Host double booked the property and left us out in the rain…literally

Be warned; this condo is also listed on Airbnb and can be double booked. The morning we were driving down to Gulf Shores, i messaged our host for check-in info. I didn’t think it was odd that I hadn’t received it because she mentioned there was someone checking out that morning and the cleaner needed to go in. I assumed she would send it along when the cleaners were done. Around 3:30 (check in was at 4), I gave the host a call. That is when she informed me that she had double booked the property (on Airbnb and Vrbo) and the other occupants were already there.We had nowhere to stay and massive thunderstorm were starting. When I called Vrbo for help, they said they couldn’t rebook me because it was only a one-night stay. They would not put me on with a supervisor because “that’s not how they do things.” They offered to send me links to available properties so that I can message the hosts to see if they were available. At this point it was storming and we were all off the beach and sitting in the car trying to find alternatives. I was desperate so I accepted the links. When I got the email, they were all fake links. Not a single one of them worked. Maybe they were from their internal system; I don’t know. After all that, I ended up booking a hotel about 20 mins away that we had to drive to in the storm. Vrbo’s “supervisor” didn’t call me back until Monday (our stay was Saturday night). Save yourself the headache and do not book this property or use this company at all.
