With a private, sparkling screened pool, sandy beach, and private dock, you can relax the day away swimming, fishing, or kayaking. Bay views from every room of this home bring a sense of peace and tranquility. It's a short walk to the beach to build sandcastles and search for seashells! Whether you spend your day splashing in the surf of the Island's award-winning sugar sand beaches or decide to explore on bicycle or paddleboard, this property puts the best of the Forgotten Coast within easy reach. Located in the popular East End neighborhood, Jack's Place is close to the multi-use path that connects the Island, St. George State Park, local shops, restaurants, nightlife, and the St. George Lighthouse Museum. Historic Apalachicola, with its happening arts, culinary and shopping scene, is just 13.7 miles by car!

The exterior of this lovely home offers under-house concrete parking, a covered entry, and a super convenient elevator to unload all your vacation gear. A screened pool (heated for a fee) with wonderful Bay views is just out your door. The private dock/fishing pier provides countless hours of fun just off the sandy shore. An outdoor, enclosed shower is perfect for the day's end, and a fish cleaning station and park-style grill are provided for your fresh catch. A screened porch with rocking chairs, a swing, and a dining table for six provides additional living space with incredible views. An exterior staircase makes accessing the pool and pier from the living area quick and easy.

The first floor of this bayfront home offers an open living/dining/kitchen space for everyone to gather. Large picture windows bring the beauty of this amazing coastal setting inside. The living room offers a 55-inch TV with a soundbar and a Wii gaming system. The well-appointed kitchen offers stainless appliances, granite counters, and a breakfast bar that seats three. The dining table seats eight for a delicious coastal meal or family games and has direct access to the covered, screened porch which is the perfect location to watch the sun rise.

THINGS TO KNOW
The boat lift is not for guest use.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Home was a great location on the bay the view was spectacular! No complaints the kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals. Could use something to clean outdoor grill. Would be helpful. Had a great vacation would stay here again. Elevator is a game changer!

Perfect Location
The house was perfect! Our dog loved being so close to the water. She had a blast when the tide was out especially! We loved how quiet it was & the great sunsets! We’ll definitely be back!

A Wonderful Family Friendly Bayfront Property!!
We had the best time staying at this home on St. George Island as a group of four adults, 1 pre-schooler and 2 water loving dogs! The exterior and size of the property, the pool (we paid the extra to heat it which is a must-do), dock with amenities (running water, electricity & cleaning station), and small private beach were hands down the most charming parts of this property! The neighbors were also so friendly! The kitchen was also great with plenty of gear to cook with. Our family loves to cook together so we made great use of it. The interior of house is pretty good - but not the best we’ve ever rented. The beds were not very comfortable, the elevator didn’t work for the first 1/2 of our trip, 2 of the showers on the 2nd floor didn’t drain and only had lukewarm water, & the living room furniture wasn’t the coziest. There was also a noticeable lack of throw blankets but we made do. The stairs were steep and tiled, which felt like a broken bone waiting to happen - But luckily we survived without injuries. Either way - we spent most of our time not sleeping outside! Wish the pool lights had worked, that a propane grill had been available, and that we weren’t being monitored on exterior cameras in the front and rear of the property, but we all agreed that despite some imperfections, we would rent this house again in a heartbeat.

Well appointed home
We spent a week in this lovely home. The photos do not do it justice. The home is big, bright, beautifully decorated and clean! It is the most well appointed kitchen I have ever seen in a rental. You could host a Thanksgiving dinner! We tend to do most of our own cooking, so that was important for us. The view from the back porch is worth the visit. Spent a lot of time in the porch swing. My other half made use of the dock and fished everyday. Sitting by the firepit during the day was a favorite as well. We made good use of the pool which was great. Furniture out there a tad uncomfortable. I rented a kayak and it was relatively easy to take to water and launch. Next time I will bring my bike. There is a dedicated pedestrian sidewalk the goes pretty much the length of the island. I loved being able to walk to the beach from the house. 1/4 mile. We did prefer the beaches at the state park as they were pretty much deserted. Sadly I can't say much about the local food. We tried two of the highest rated restaurants and were disappointed both times. The local supermarket was pretty sad too. Vacasa was easy to book with and great with check in and check out details. It can be a little cumbersome contacting them for any issues. Once we did, they were very quick and efficient in handling it. All in all it was an incredibly fabulous experience. I would definitely go back. My advise: think about food; bring beach towels and trash bags.
