The place was nice, very pretty, beautiful sunset view over the water. It has a strong mildew scent that bothered my husband. The owner offered to send over a dehumidifier the next morning, but with the AC, the smell has studied though by morning that my husband's preference for not having people come into our "home base" whole we were gone less to us won out and we declined. The place was hot and stuffy with ceiling fans on high when we arrived. We turned in the AC while we were gone for a few hours... The rest of the trip, we could not keep the place from being freezing cold, it seemed like even with the AC set at 75 degrees it was still too cold to enjoy the living room. All of the ceiling fans were either in turbo wind mode or off, no in between. A couple of the lights didn't work, but they weren't the only lights in the room so it was fine. All in all these were fairly minor issues - I'd rather be cold than hot. The place was clean and bug free. If you're short like me (5.5 feet) you will need assistance in the master bath reaching the shower shampoo and conditioner, the height of the shelf they are on was clearly selected by a tall person, lol. I didn't check that in the second bath. This made a good home base for SCUBA training at Playa Mantas.
