Great family location, we do not cater to a "spring break" crowd. DOG FRIENDLY BUT DOGS ARE NOT TO BE LEFT ALONE. Neighborhood consists of full time homeowners, apartments, hotels restaurants and convenience store and other vacation rentals. We provide beach gear, EV charger, AC, fire pit, outdoor shower. NO TV or WASHER/DRYER.

When we arrived in Carlsbad, we were excited to get to beach just a short ealk from the property. But when we got to this fantastic home, we were so in love with this hone we didnt want to leave! The hone is so cute and comfortable. But the yard was my favorite part. It was so peaceful. We loves sitting outside with the sounds of the waterfountains and the beautiful wall mural and landscaping. This is paradise. Everything was so clean. The host is very friendly and accessible.

The accommodation was excellent. The location has easy access to the beach and Carlsbad Village.We enjoyed the shops and restaurants, and especially the Wednesday farmers market.

This tranquil escape located in the heart of charming Carlsbad was, without question, our favorite place we've stayed on vacation. The home was so well appointed with all the amenities needed, including a full kitchen with loads of kitchen supplies, a wagon and beach supplies for fun days in the sand, a peaceful and serene private courtyard with fire pit and outdoor shower, and the proximity to the beach and downtown Carlsbad couldn't be beat. The icing on the cake is the host, Jim. He's incredibly responsive, kind, accommodating, and seems to have 'never known a stranger'. Jim, thank you again for everything. We are excited to become repeat guests!

Absolutely wonderful! The house is cute, clean, and very functional. The yard is fantastic with privacy, an outdoor shower, and lovely greenery. Quiet street with a quick walk to the beach and to town. Jim is an excellent host. Appreciate the parking and the sense of safety as a woman traveling alone.

The host was very helpful and accommodating. We loved the patio water features and wind chimes, so relaxing. Location is great. It is super close to the beach and the village both within walking distance.

Jim was an amazing host. He was very friendly and helpful and also gave us a very sweet welcoming gift. The home is located in a wonderful spot, very walkable. We enjoyed a private outdoor fire in the attached yard and loved the outdoor oasis. We will definitely book this property with this great host again. Thanks Jim!

This property was amazing. Wonderful location, within walking distance to the beach and several great restaurants. It had more than what we needed, when I say fully stocked kitchen, I mean it, all appliances, dishware, utensils, pots, pans, can opener, anything you would need. The host was very kind and communicative. This may seem small, but he supplied ample toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, etc. You could tell that he has gone out of his way to think of ways to make his guests comfortable. It felt like home. I did not want to leave! Overall great experience. Also, very pet friendly, there were dog bags everywhere, property was very safe for my small dog to be off leash in the yard. Very private, very safe. Also, had an electric car charger.

Jim and his place are a Carlsbad gem. We are a couple with a dog and are grateful that dogs are allowed. We also really appreciated his thoughtful amenities like the EV charger, Carlsbad Alkaline water, hot outdoor shower the kitchen set up including a blender (we make a lot of smoothies). Jim also provides beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, bougie board, surf board, and towels)We also loved the enclosed outdoor space which seems like an extension of the indoor space. All the plants, trees, and fountains give the place a private Zen garden feel. Even though the street is just on the other side of the trees, there is almost no noise. Thanks Jim, we're already looking forward to coming back!

We met Jim when we were checking in, and he was super friendly, chatting with us for a bit. Everything was spotless and tidy. We were easily able to walk to and from downtown and the beach daily. Plus, the outdoor area was so peaceful, it was a real treat!

This was a perfect place to stay for us. We enjoyed walking to the beach and into town.The place was super clean and had everything you needed. We had a lovely stay at Jim’s property. The feelOf the house was great. When you walk around the house it feels more like you are staying at a friends house and not at a rental property. The walk to the beach was very easy and quick plus Jim had some beach supplies (wagon, chairs and umbrella). We really enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
