We had an amazing time! The house was exactly what we were hoping it would be. Comfortable beds lots of space all is perfect for just hanging around. To drive to town wasn’t terrible, but we also live in a rural location ourselves. We had such a great time that we booked it again for the same time next year!

It was a bit of a drive to get to, but worth it! The house is amazing and very well stocked with most anything you could need. The views were amazing! The pictures don't do the place justice. Carl was a great host and so easy to communicate with, didn't get to meet Deb unfortunately. Dan who helps them with the property was also easy to get a hold of with questions. 100% would rent the property again.

We really enjoyed our stay here, we spent most of our time sitting on the back porch watching the sunsets. We would love to come back for whale watching.

House was located right next to the water, although a very rural area. Great for a stay-at-home vacation, kitchen was well stocked and host very helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

We left after 2 nights and I am waiting for a refund. The washing machine had mold in it and had a horrible smell. We left after finding cockroaches which we find unacceptable. We found this a horrid experience

Carl and Deb are amazing hosts! They're very open with communication and the check-in process was seamless! The pictures they share do not compare to the actual home and scenery! This was truly a home away from home for us. The kitchen was definitely made for staying in for amazing evening meals with a picturesque back drop! The walk-out allowed us to watch sea life from above.... from reef fish to dolphins swimming by in the morning! Mahalo C&D for everything! We will be back!!

This is the perfect place for those who don't want to be around a lot of noisy people. It is a very large home right now the water. The sunsets are spectacular! It was the perfect location to be able to travel to all the renowned beaches (Black Sand, Green Sand, and Pebbles Beach), along with getting to the Volcano National Park within a decent amount of time. The owners are great and very friendly. We are so pleased we got to meet them in person.

Great experience. Carl and Deb are wonderful hosts. House needs a few things painted and touched up a bit from wear but not badCleaning service needs to dust and clean a bit better such as windows and bathroom walls

Beautiful stay

Our family had an amazing stay here, everything about this house is beautiful. If you get the opportunity to meet Carl and Deb, I highly recommend it as they are the warmest, friendliest couple and our evening visiting with them was one of the highlights of our trip.

It was a unique stay in a very special house right by the sea. Deborah and Carl are wonderful hosts, and you can tell at all times that they don't just rent out this house, but really take care of it and prepare a special place for their guests.We were here for almost a week and enjoyed our stay to the fullest, from the first view of the sea in the morning to the last sip of wine on the veranda in the evening.We can wholeheartedly recommend the house and were very happy to meet Carl and his wife.

Stunning views from this roomy, well- equipped house! Plenty of space to spend out, both inside and out, as well as in the shade or sun. Best VRBO we’ve been into HI!

Beautiful off-the-beaten-path home.

Beautiful, large home on cliff overlooking the ocean. A bit of a drive to go places, but perfect for a quiet getaway.
