Summary:
Relaxation at its finest! Get away in this 4 bedroom, 3 bath cottage on Boone Lake! Home includes an amazing outdoor living space with places to relax or enjoy a meal on the patio or in the screened in dining area. Also outside is a hammock and several lounge chairs overlooking the lake. You can also access the home by car or boat with access to drive up to the dock on Boone Lake! Inside you will find two bedrooms downstairs each with their own bathroom and upstairs is two bedrooms with a bath.

The Space:
Home includes an amazing outdoor living space with places to relax or enjoy a meal on the patio or in the screened in dining area. Outside is a hammock and several lounge chairs overlooking the lake. There is a hot tub overlooking the lake plus a fire pit with roasting sticks for s'mores. You can access the home by car or boat- drive up to the dock on Boone Lake! Inside you will find a primary bedroom on the main level with a full bath that overlooks the lake and a 2nd bedroom with full bathroom across the hall. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms with a full bath. Enjoy sunrise views over the lake from the back of the home and sunsets over the lake at the front of the home. Wildlife abounds at the cottage! Bring your fishing poles because fishing is great from the dock! The home is located on the main portion of Boone lake where the South Holston River meets the lake. Striped Bass and Striper abound as well as bluegill, catfish and trout! Borrow our kayaks to take a 5 minute trip over to Boonies at Davis Marina for a wonderful meal or explore the rock cliffs on the sound. The home is 12 minutes from Bristol motor speedway, 15 minutes from the Casino in Bristol and is centrally located within a 15-20 minute drive to Johnson City, Kingsport and Bristol. Pontoon boat rental is available nearby. Boone lake drops 20 feet from approximately October through April (full usually between Memorial Day and Labor Day). The floating dock is in the lake year round.

Lake house

The stay started off great by communication from the property manager. The house was decent but it wasnt perfectly clean but it wasn't worth complaining about. My kids and wife where excited to use the hot tub, Go outside and take top off and at first glance it looked clean. I started up the jets and white stuff was floating everywhere it looked super disgusting. I emailed management and I didn't even get a reply back. The other downfall is we booked this rental over a year ago and was charged 100% a year ago instead of a deposit. Also it was never mentioned that this time of the year the lake is not even useable due to it being drained and low. So that was a disappointment for our family. Paid a premium for the house and just didn't get what we expected.

Wedding trip with family

Needed a place to stay while attending a wedding. We needed to bring our dogs and have enough space for everyone to be comfortable. This place was perfect, and the lake was a beautiful bonus! Will definitely return for a vacation!
