Overall, It could not have gone any better.We previously owned property less than 2 blocks away so knew the area very well.It’s our “Go-to” place and we’re ready to do it again next year.

Great place!

Great location! Responsive helpful property representatives. It would be nice to know we would need toilet paper, trash bags and paper towels. What was provided did not last the trip and we did not have a car.

The condo was great. Loved the location. The only thing I would say that needs to be improved is better cleaning of the floors. The first night our feet were black on the bottom from walking on the floors. It definitely wasn't just from the rental before ours. It's from several. Just needs to be washed every time. Also the washing machine goes out of balance easily. Other than that it's very nice.

We had 11 of us. 6 adults, 3 teens and 2 younger. The sleeping arrangement was a bit tight but we got a air mattress to make it work. The sofa bed was too uncomfortable so one of the teens added blankets on the couch to make it work. 2 of the 3 bedrooms had private bath rooms and the third bedroom shared the hallway bath. They were decent. The place was decorated cute and in a good area. We walked 5 - 10 minutes to the beach. Put everything in a cart to tote.

Everyday was a Vacation Day

Many times over the past, in doing a Vacation rental, there seems to be one issue, i.e., problem with check-in, appliance problems, if a problem, the difficulty of getting it addressed. With this rental, any issue we had was immediately addressed, check-in was a breeze, easy instructions, absolutely the best view and location, rooms were very clean, and the list could go on. In other words, on this Vacation, everyday was a Vacation day. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The condo was large and well decorated. Location is wonderful with many restaurants within walking distance. The kids loved seeing dolphins each day off the balcony. The property management company was wonderful to work with and provided excellent communication. We would definitely comeback and stay at Bay Harbor 202.

Great Location / Great Stay

My only minor complaint with our experience was communication post booking. And frankly, missing a touch of that communication probably resulted in a more positive experience overall. We booked our stay for 4/2-4/9 during the last week of December. This is our second or third time booking through VRBO, but first through Florida Beach Rentals. After the confirmation email, we didn't receive any correspondence until 4/2 via text, giving us a few instructions and keypad pin for entry. This made me a little nervous leading up to our stay, so I did call on 4/1 and verified that we had our stay. After a few laughs, all was good there. I do not know if waiting until the day of arrival is common practice with most property management groups. But, it made me a little nervous. In the meantime, because of the communication, my wife and I started to do some additional research on the unit, the week before we left. We found a couple of listings that showed very different pictures for the same unit number. This was in conjunction with a few negative reviews on VRBO about "dated" such and such. Back to that irony, we began to get a little nervous on what we were going to walk into. Everything was fantastic! We had two adults, two seniors in high school, a middle schooler, and an elementary school age child. The unit was much larger than even the pictures gave it credit for. Everything was very clean. There were a few minor cosmetic things (i.e. two door handles were a little loose and came off easily). But, you were just off the beaten path, the view of the bay was great, and all of Florida Beach Rentals' staff were immediately responsive on the three to four times we called. And yes, you do get to see dolphins off the balcony at least twice (it was 4-5 times for us). I would definitely recommend this to a group of 5-8. We really enjoyed our stay.

I’ve used your site many times to book accommodations and always been pleased, we visit Clearwater often and live the area. This particular unit is lovely and a great location but the condo needs some updates and some TLC! The spa tub was not clean, the master shower door wouldn’t totally close causing water on floor with showering, the small bath shower didn’t drain well leaving standing water while showering, the sliding door was so difficult to slide open even after maintenance came down to spray it, the sliding door screens were coming off track so we could not leave sliding door open at all, oven door handle loose and came off while using oven, all dining chair cushions and bar stool cushions appeared older and stained, issue with fire alarms for first two days of our stay and although maintenance was prompt to our calls and very accommodating to fix the issue it was very frustrating. Overall we enjoyed our time but for the price I would not rent this unit again.
