Enjoy easy access to everything from this perfectly located home base, including the Popular downtown area, Amusement Park, restaurants, shopping, the Lake and the Public Beach.
The space
Our Lake house is a split level home with the kitchen, living room, master suite and 1 full bathroom on the main floor. Master bedroom has a private door to access the deck and backyard. Downstairs you will find the second living room, bar, bathroom/laundry room and 2 bedrooms (one BR with queen bunks & one BR with Twin over Fill bunk beds) ****Note- both BR top bunks have a 200lb limit****

This house accommodated our group of 11 with plenty of space. The house was clean. Would recommend to have extra blankets.

Check in and check out process were smooth and simple. The place was clean and neatly organized with plenty of towels, bedding, and utensils for everyone who stayed. Would definitely recommend this place!

This stay was great and was suited for the amount of people in our group. The house was nice and clean, the host communicated well and worked with us, and the location was ideal to walk downtown. Would recommend.

Great location but probably only positive thing about it it. Fridge did not work for our stay and communication about it was poor. Trash under beds from prior stays. Listing stated bedroom 2 has 1 twin bed, 1 double bed, and one twin bunk bed. Bedroom 2 has a full or double over twin bunk bed and that is it. Listing stated bedroom 3 had two queen beds and a twin bunk bed, this is also false. Bedroom 3 has a queen over queen bunk bed. We were counting on all of these beds, and instead had to have people sleeping on the couch and bought an air mattress to accommodate our guest count that it says it can accommodate. Locks on bedroom/bathroom doors not working, loose railings, and exposed wires. I have never been more disappointed in a vacation rental before. I’m glad we were all able to stay together in one house, and on late notice with all the issues we likely wouldn’t have found something to stay all together for our stay. Definitely not worth the cost that we paid for this trip.

In the 5 yrs I’ve been hosting I’ve never had anyone so unhappy & I’m sorry your experience wasn’t to your expectations! Our vacation home sleeps 12 as stated on vrbo so I’m a little confused why your party of 11 didn’t have enough beds to sleep in. Also I’m sorry for the refrigerator issue & inconvenience it caused you. The fridge was most likely having a hard time keeping cold with too many warm items placed inside. When I cleaned on Sunday after your departure it was cold but again I’m sorry for the inconvenience it caused and it is the reason I sent you a refund.

We fell in love with the location of this house. It is within walking distance to the most popular local attractions in Okoboji. We have a large double deck in the backyard with a fire pit and mature bushes & trees that give our yard privacy from neighboring homes. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
