Nice house, clean, nice neighborhood, resort staff very good, Propane tank was M/T for fire pit, made a call in 30 minute's had a new tank.

Great location, house was perfect. The only complaint was the swim spa, because it’s so big it took over a day to get up to temp and even though you could smell the chemicals from it just being cleaned when you turned on all the jets a lot of “stuff” was in the water.

House was dirty upon arrival.

This was a beautiful house. Unfortunately we didn’t get to stay in it. Upon arrival, as soon as we walked through the house it was clear that it hadn’t been cleaned. There were still dirty towels and sheets on the floor. After loading our stuff back up the resort put us in a different house that wasn’t nearly as nice. The resort didn’t offer any compensation, just acted like it wasn’t a big deal.

Wonderful Thanksgiving stay at True Grit.

We loved our stay for Thanksgiving with family and friends. We liked the western theme and loved the decor. The location is great for riding at Sand Hollow. However the parking situation is a bit undesirable for a large group, all with full size truck and trailers. The garage will fit 2 cars, not long enough for our trucks. The driveway is short, and will fit 2 vehicles, but no space for a trailer. Vehicles are not allowed on the street after 10:00pm:/ They do have an overflow parking less than a mile from the house for extra vehicles and trailers. Its just a bit of a pain. The kitchen was well stocked with the exception of zero wash cloths, only one hand towel, and not enough paper towels and trash bags. I was surprised there is not a pantry in the kitchen, or closets in most of the bedrooms. The outdoor hot tub space needed a good sweep to get rid of sand, cobwebs, and debris. We could not find a broom, but ended up finding it in the garage on the last day. The upstairs patio space had some garbage left up there from the previous renter, not really a big deal. The fireplace on the patio had very little propane so, we did not get to use it much, before it ran out of fuel. Other than these few minor issues, everything was great! We had an awesome time!!! Thanks for having us!😊

Brandy, thank you for your review of True Grit. The comfort and enjoyment of our guests is our highest priority. We have staff on the property 24 hours a day to assist with any concerns that arise during a stay. The HOA does restrict trailer parking, to allow for additional traffic through The Retreat, where our homes are located. This helps prevent traffic accidents on a high occupancy weekends and keeps peace for the our permanent residents. We have taken your concerns back to our management team so that we may be able to enhance any future stays. We hope to be able to host you again in the future to show you a different experience.
