This was a nice house only 15 minutes from downtown Sacramento. There was a couple of hiccups but nothing that the Host and myself didn’t figure out. The host was helpful and accommodating. And the price was decent. I’d recommend this place to some friends if they were needing a place to stay in this region.

Better than a hotel room

Nice big living area with large TV and comfy furniture. Disappointed that the hot tub was unusable, freezer handle missing and hard to open, dishwasher was duct taped together, and had to hand wash dishes before using. King bed was super soft, dining room chairs very uncomfortable. Do not park in the spot closest to the front door- birds live on the roof and completely poop bombed our vehicle. Had to pay $15 for a car wash the first day.

Caution - Health & Safety Issues Here!!

My family and I drove 7 hrs to stay here and we walked into a nightmare! Tried to find another place but was only in town for 2 days and no VRBOs available. I wish I could share the real photos of this property on here for you. Listing says “Hot Tub”, and the top is broken looks like someone jumped on it, and it was so dirty I don’t think it’s been cleaned or used. But at least it’s right next to the swing/playset for your kids to fall into. Fridge is dented and missing the handle to the freezer. The kitchen counter isn’t glued down and could tip on you if sitting at the counter (like it almost did to my 80yr dad). Cookware was disgusting, 2 sauce pans with leftover food or whatever was cooked in it on everything, probably b/c the dishwasher is duct taped together too. But no scrub brush or dish soap to try and get them clean. Didn’t see that in the photos. Couch is broken in the back, MOLD!! Yes mold in the master bathroom cabinets and drawers so bad. That’s a health code issue, right? Oh and the headboard almost fell on us, wasn’t screwed in.. WTH. I can’t make this stuff up. Watch your step on the driveway, it’s separated about 2” high on one side from the big tree roots in the dirty front yard (I know why they don’t show you the front of the house in their photos now). Just look for a different place in Elk Grove and save yourself time and headache.

The pictures are incorrect. The floor has tons of bubbles in it. There are holes in the walls. The appliances are broken (handle missing from freezer and entire panel missing from Dishwasher. The fireplace doesn’t work. The swingset support beam is bowed in and unsafe. The garage door doesn’t work. There are holes in the walls and holes in the ceiling with wires hanging out. The master bedroom does not have a smoke detector.
