Perfection

This villa is stunning and in a perfect location to explore the area! The space easily accommodates multiple families and is an exquisite retreat. But beyond the villas itself, the staff is what makes this place truly special. You are welcomed and made to feel as if it is your home. We will be back!

Beautiful house with a wonderful staff

This house was amazing! The view from the house was stunning and the beach was steps away and fairly private. The staff were wonderful and catered to our every need. The food was all delicious and the chef managed to cook food that satisfied everyone (including a vegetarian and two picky children). Also, if you want to see the town, the main strip is only a few minutes away by a cheap taxi ride.

Casa Tres Vidas

We booked a portion (3 bdrm villa) in the Casa Tres Vidas unit for a week. Awesome experience from booking until checkout. The owner / manager were very responsive to any pre-arrival questions we had and prepared us for our stay. The onsite staff was amazing. Full time Manager (Sara) daily cleaning staff and of course Danny (Houseman) and Edwardo (Chef). Danny and Edwardo made the trip perfect for all of us. I would highly recommend asking for them. Danny made sure we had anything we needed and served us our meals as if in a 5-star restaurant. The food……oh my, the food. Incredible. Edwardo is an artist. We cant stop talking about how great every meal was. Starting off with fresh squeezed orange juice with breakfast to each dessert after dinner. Danny would also prepare margaritas, fresh guacamole and pica de gallo every day for midday snacking. The beach is semi-private and perfect for snorkeling, sunbathing and we were frequently the only people using it. The accommodations were great. Private bedrooms on multiple levels all have an eclectic feel and had great views. We loved that most of the unit was “open” to the beach / salt air and that you never really felt like you were indoors. The unit is a half hour beach walk from the Malecon and a trip to “town” is a bit difficult to accomplish on the spur of the moment. That didnt bother us as we spent 6 of the 7 days on the beach right in front of the unit. We will return…..

Casa Tres Vidas

My family decided we wanted a beach getaway to spend a relaxing week over the Thanksgiving holiday. We did our research and found Casa Tres Vidas on the beach in Puerto Vallarta (Conchas Chinas). The online pictures and descriptions drew us in, so we decided on Vida Sol and made our reservations. Booking online can be risky at times, as photos don’t always represent properties accurately. When we arrived we were thrilled to find that the property was even more amazing than we expected! The space was perfect for the entire family (there were 7 of us, all adults). The rooms were clean, spacious and had everything we needed. The ocean views were incredible and we started each day enjoying a cup of coffee while watching the amazing sea life (whales, dolphins, stingrays). We ended each day by toasting each glorious sunset with expertly made margaritas. The place has its own pool (not big, but perfect for what we wanted/needed) and a hot tub. We used these every day, and loved being able to use the pool while taking in the incredible view at the same time. When we wanted to feel the sand on our toes we just took the stairway down to the beach! The staff was simply on another level. Our breakfast and dinner was prepared almost every day by Eduardo and Ines. The meals were fresh, authentic and better than any meal we had in town, hands down! Eduardo is an incredible chef and was extremely flexible. He lovingly prepared our meals to meet some of the dietary restrictions required by some of our family members. Rafael provided the warmest, and most professional hospitality and was always more than willing to accommodate. Anything at all we needed, Rafael was able to provide! He was so invaluable to us throughout our stay. The staff kept the place spotless and all were so friendly. Sara, the Manager/Concierge, was always available to us and was an invaluable help when we had questions or needed a cab to accommodate our group. She always went out of her way for us. We made friends with many of the staff and we can’t wait to return! The location is fantastic and situated within walking distance of the Zona Romantica. Close to town, but far enough away from the traffic and noise to appreciate a peaceful, quiet and calming environment. We recommend Casa Tres Vidas to anyone who wants an incredible vacation with a 5 star staff. We are already planning our next stay!

Wonderful Stay

The location of the property was perfect and the level of service exemplary. We stayed for five nights in order to attend a wedding nearby. The beach in front of the property provided a quiet and beautiful place to spend time during the day and the meals were so good that we hardly ever went out. Overall an amazing experience.

Awesome Property but Noisy

We stayed in Vida Del Mar which is right on the ocean. The rooms were perfect for our family and the cooks were amazing. It was easy to get around using taxis or Uber. The only issues were noise - first from the demolition of a deck two houses away that went all day 8-6 except for Sundays. The second was from a group of women who decided it was fine to get drunk and just continually scream until midnight when we contacted security. The rules are 10 pm and it should not be up to the guests to be kept awake and need to tell security to stop the noise.

Vallarta 2021

Im not sure that the words I write will even give you an idea of how fantastic this place is. It was the experience of a lifetime. Ive been travelling to Vallarta for over 35 years, so I know my way around very well. From the moment I booked this home it was on. Sara the house manager was in contact iwht me asking what she could do to assist me. She hooked up day trips, drivers, shows and anything else my heart desired. Once on the property we were greeted by the staff with margaritas, pina colodas and appetizers. We had Eduardo as our personal chef who is definately 5 star! From the pre arranged menu selections to having Eduardo whip up our personal requests it was all so amazing. Didnt miss a beat. We had Rapheal who was our houseman who also catered to all of our needs. He also went over the top discussing menus selections and beverages needed daily. Whatever we could dream of it was provided. We were treated like royalty. Even the maid service was exceptional. She cleaned our rooms daily and even did some laundry for us. I just cannot tell you what a fantastic experience this was. Its a gem. If your wanting the vacation of a lifetime, book this. You will not be disappointed at all. I will tell every person I know about this magnificent adventure and Im truly sorry that I didnt stay a full 2 weeks. The Price is RIGHT on this one. Dont hesitate to book it. I look forward to returning next year.

Great place to stay

Our family gathereed in Puerto Vallarta for a long weekend and several of us stayed at Vida Sol while others were nearby. We absolutely loved this place! With a toddler in the mix it was important to us to have easy access to the beach and this had that and more. We used the hottub most every night and enjoyed the delicious meals prepared by Edwardo. Rafael was a wonderful all around helper and the place was kept clean and tidy, despite an array of toys that were used consistently. Everyone of our 9 family members came to visit and commented on the great location and amenities. We hope to return!

The ultimate villa in paradise

This was our first trip with two small children to Mexico and it did no disappoint! From the moment we booked, Jon and his team were courteous, friendly and very thoughtful. Our comfort was alwas ytheir top priority and they seemed to anticipate our every need. The food and margaritas were delicious and it was so convenient not having to eat out all the time with two napping children. The beach in front of the villa is one of the prettiest in the area and we had it to ourselves every day. We will definitely be making this an annual trip and hope to bring friends back to enjoy Casa Tres Vidas with us next time.

Fabulous vacation with children and grandchildren!

Our family stayed in Casa Tres Vidas for 8 days. We were 6 adults and 4 children ages from 1 to 10. The accommodations were outstanding, however the best part was how well we were taken care of by the staff. The food and service were fantastic to the point that we only went out to eat once. We will definitely be back. Big THANKS for the incredible vacation!

Beautiful spot!

Our family reunion enjoyed staying at Vida Sol. The children lived in the pool and hot tub, and the adults loved the outdoor living and the beach outside the door. The staff is wonderful.

Exceptional Stay in Puerto Vallarata

Casa Tres Vidas is by far the best vacation location we have ever stayed at. This is a review we almost don't want to write in case it gets too popular! We try to return every year or two and bring new friends along each time, who are all left in open-mouthed awe the moment they walk in. We rented all 3 villas for my husband's 40th birthday and our group could not have been more impressed. The villas themselves are shockingly beautiful, you can't believe it's a real place, but above all the wonderful service of the staff, particularly Ramiro and Julian, made our trip unforgettable. They are the definition of service, in a subtle unassuming way. Every need was met without us even having to ask. Margaret is a gem and so helpful and responsive from the first moment of reservation, to helping us organize a surprise guest and a dinner for 25 people. We truly don't have enough words to describe how much we love Casa Tres Vidas, and are looking forward to our next visit!

Paradise!

I have stayed at casa tres vidas on several occasions, and it always exceeds my expectations! a perfect combination of total relaxation and attentive service! Over the years the staff and I have become friends. So my total getaway feels very much like "coming home"! Thanks for making yet another dream vacation!

Your hosts Margaret Parrish and Jon Christopher Jones welcome you to their perfect beachfront escape in sunny and warm Puerto Vallarta, Mexico!
Margaret, an army brat that has lived all over the world, first fell in love with Vallarta during her honeymoon in the mid 80s. After selling a thriving small café in Salt Lake City, she quickly became bored. Her dreams always brought her back to Vallarta, the place that she fell in love with the minute she arrived.
Jon was a friend of Margaret’s from Salt Lake City where he owned a successful travel agency - the Travel Zone. Ever since a spring break trip to Mexico in high school, Jon’s goal was to one day move there. Jon’s extensive background in hospitality as the Director of Coca-Cola’s Global Hospitality program for the 2002 Olympic Games and many other projects for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, was the perfect training ground as part owner of a pair of hotels.
Together, in 1997, they rescued a diamond in the rough on the perfect beach in Vallarta and Quinta Maria Cortez became a reality after months of renovations and improvements. Just three years later, the neighboring property became available, and Casa Tres Vidas joined the enclave that makes up Villas in Vallarta.
