Welcome to @VillaPuraVida where you can experience "Pure Life". This luxury hilltop villa in the Amapas area of PV features 3 BR & 3BA with spectacular 180 degree views of the Banderas Bay, PV Pier, Romantic Zone & Los Muertos Beach. The villa also includes a newly remodeled large private heated infinity pool with fountain, LED lighting & palapa bar . The villa is huge with 4,700 sq ft of single level indoor/outdoor living & only 10 min walk or 5 min Uber/Taxi to the beaches & Old Town. The 3 large King BR are all ensuite & 2 feature water views. There is also an air mattress for a 7th guest.

Villa Pura Vida PV is part of a private, small gated complex. There are 2 free-standing 5 bedroom homes in the complex as well as 3 villas which share one structure. Villa Pura Vida PV is the middle unit in the 3 villa structure - one per floor, and as shown has its own private entrance, infinity pool, palapa bar and parking.

To get to the villa guests enter thru a private gate (access codes are provided at check-in). There is a somewhat steep driveway from the gate to the top where the villa is located. Property entrances like this are common in PV for places overlooking the Romantic Zone and Banderas Bay as that's how you get these incredible views. Ubers & taxis are readily plentiful and used to the hills and driveways. At the height of the rainy season (Aug to Sept), we can recommend experienced drivers who are most skilled at navigating the driveway if wet.

Villa Pura Vida PV sits above Los Muertos Beach, Almar Resort, Mantamar Beach Club and Blue Chairs and features amazing nightly sunsets and many firework shows. The view is breathtaking and you can see across to Punta Mita to Sayulita to Nuevo/Marina Vallarta to the Romantic Zone all the way to the beginning of Conchas Chinas. It's truly one of the best and most expansive views in PV.

The villa is fully air conditioned and features 7 split AC units with one in each bedroom and 4 others located throughout the main living area. There are also ceiling fans in each bedroom and additional ceiling fans throughout the villa living spaces. There is a wonderful cross breeze which runs thru the villa as the large double front door & all of the large glass doors on the side and patio area can be opened to enjoy the breeze.

Villa Pura Vida PV offers both weekly and monthly discounts for those looking for longer stays. VRBO will display the discounts as part of the overall price for the stay.

Some of the most unique features of Villa Pura Vida PV include:

*180 degree views including year round sunset views. Many places in PV have views, but they are dead ahead or 90 degree views so you can't see the sunset many months and don't get the unobstructed expansive view you see from Villa Pura Vida of Punta Mita all the way to the Romantic Zone to Los Muertos Beach and to the beginning of Conchas Chinas.
*Newly remodeled large private heated infinity pool with fountain, LED lighting & a separate pool sitting area to take in the views. Some places in PV only have "splash or community" pools. Here you get your own exclusive private pool. Note that pool is heated during the winter season to 86 degrees (Dec to mid Apr) but it's not needed in the summer.
*Your own palapa bar with refrigerator and sink. This is a great area for breakfast, remote work, happy hour and sunset.
*Being in a small, private gated complex. This is very unique in PV as most of the developments are large hotel-like condos with lots of shared common spaces, competition for pool chairs, crowds and small balconies/patios.
*A very large space - both indoors and outdoors. Most 3 BR places in PV have a "flexible" 3rd bedroom with a thin wall and smaller beds that's part of a living room. Villa Pura Vida offers 3 large King bedrooms, all ensuite (#3 bathroom can be used as main bathroom or just ensuite) and 2 with views. Bedroom #3 faces the jungle. There is also an air mattress for a 7th guest.
*At 4,700 sq ft of indoor/outdoor living space, Villa Pura Vida PV is definitely one of the largest of its kind in PV. The kitchen is quite large and open with an island and pantry with washer & dryer. The dining room has seating for 6 (8 is possible with 2 additional chairs) with great views and is light filled. There are two areas in the living room to relax. One by the 75" Smart TV with couch, love seat and arm chair. The other sitting area has 3 comfy overstuffed leather arm chairs. Both areas have large floor to ceiling glass doors to give you that truly PV indoor/outdoor life style.
*The patio offers several options for seating/enjoyment. There is seating for 4 at the covered palapa bar, seating for another 6-7 on the outdoor furniture and 4 lounge chairs by the pool. There's also a huge umbrella which can shade portions of the pool, seating area or add additional privacy where needed.
*There's a BBQ on the patio to enjoy as well.

Guest Access:
All spaces are accessible and private for the guests. There are no shared spaces including the private infinity pool and palapa bar areas.

Extra service costs provided by the Villa:
There's an extra fee of $50/night for the 7th guest which is calculated in the costs at the time of the booking.

Additional grocery shopping trips cost $500 pesos for each trip.

Optional pool heat costs $50/day outside of the high season (Dec to mid-April) where it's included in the rental price.

We try to accommodate requests for early check-in or late check out as best as we can depending on the Villa rental schedule. If available, we do not charge for arriving 2 hours early (1 pm check-in) or departing 2 hours late (1 pm check out). If requesting an earlier or later check-in/check out beyond this 2 hour window, please ask us for pricing as it will depend on the season and the number of additional hours needed for the stay.

Families with young children:
We have hosted many families with young children & infants, but it should be noted although there are secure railings around the patio and main bedroom, there are large gaps between the railings so caution is required. The pool is not gated, but only has a few steps up to enter/exit so caution is required. See pictures for more details.

Accessibility:
For those with mobility challenges, the villa is on one level and the main bedroom and bathroom are quite large and spacious and the bathroom offers a large walk-in shower. The "Alexis" bathroom also has a walk-in shower, although smaller in size.

Large tourist vans and Sprinter vans will not fit under the covered driveway area so folks with mobility issues using these type of van services will need to walk up/down or be wheel chaired up/down a short (15-20 feet) cobblestone paved area to reach the villa. Suburban type of vehicles will fit in the covered parking area.
