Relax with the whole family at this western style country home. Whether your traveling thru visiting WTAMU or the Palo Duro Canyon or just need a place to get away, Spicer Bunkhouse has everything you need for a peaceful, relaxing stay. SB is 5 miles from WTAMU and 13 from the entrance of the Palo Duro Canyon. Stars at night and magnificent rises and sunsets are right outside. There is a fully stocked kitchen, washer and dryer and a desk with wireless printer if you want to take a working vacation or are a digital nomad.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house is spacious and comfortable and stocked with just about anything you could possibly need, in case you forgot anything. Becky is an incredibly gracious host; we enjoyed talking with her on occasion and visiting with her dogs each day, which my dog also enjoyed. We came to see Palo Duro, and could not ask for a better location--it's just a short trip to the park. It was a real pleasure to be in such a wide open and relaxing environment, hanging out on the porch in the early mornings and evenings. We highly recommend the Spicer Ranch to anyone traveling to or through the area. Thanks again for helping to make this a wonderful vacation.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Becky’s place. She is a fantastic host and the house had everything we needed to be comfortable. We loved getting a little taste of farm life—sitting on the porch watching the horses and spending time with her sweet dogs was a highlight.Palo Duro Canyon is just a short drive away, which made it the perfect home base for exploring.We would definitely recommend staying here and would happily come back!

Becky is an amazing host and the amenities were first rate. We were blown away by how spacious and well appointed this cabin is! The pictures really don't do it justice. We came to visit Palo Duro canyon and Becky's cabin is a perfect location! If we are ever in the area again we will definitely book this property!

Adorable property that had everything we needed for our trip to Palo Duro Canyon. Home was well kept and cutely decorated in a west Texas vibe. The snacks and drinks in the fridge were a nice touch.My kids loved playing with the property dogs and having horses and donkeys nearby.Becky was a great host.

Magical stay!

What a lovely time we had! We have stayed at vacation rentals all over the world, but this was a standout. Becky was a charming and wonderful host, and it truly felt like staying with a friend. The house and property are gorgeous too. Highly recommend!

Fantasic stay.

Really nice and uniquely styled homestead. Just on the outskirts of town so plenty of openness and quiet to relax inside or out on the big porch. Becky was very accommodating and nice to chat with. Enjoyed all the animals.

Wonderful 3-night stay at the Spicer Bunkhouse! Peaceful country setting with horses and donkeys, yet minutes from Palo Duro Canyon. Just wow!! I cannot say enough good things about the Cowboy Casita. Our youngest is a freshman at WT and we have had the pleasure of staying at Becky's a few times now. From the minute you drive into the property you know that you are in for an amazing experience. The home is stunning and Becky is an incredible host. Of course the dogs make the experience unforgettable. You will not be disappointed !!! Five stars is not enough.

We really enjoyed our stay over Thanksgiving! Becky was a perfect host and her bunkhouse is amazing! It is stocked with everything you need and is a short drive to Palo Duro State Park. We had a great time just hanging at the bunkhouse, playing games, enjoying the view of the horses and getting visits from her cute dogs. Thanks for having us Becky!

A horse/dog girl from the beginning. After many years of corporate grind, I was given the opportunity to run and operate an equestrian facility in Colorado for 10 years. Now, after selling the arena I have moved on to short term rentals and a couple long term rentals as well.

Spicer Bunkhouse was once a tiny shack. With the help of several very talented contractors Spicer Bunkhouse has been transformed into a unique cozy little western "cottage".

この宿泊施設の特徴

Spicer Bunkhouse is located outside the Canyon city limits. Sunsets that expand across the whole horizon. The stars at night.... definitely shine big and bright here. There are horses and dogs on this property and a couple little donkeys that may try and convince you for a treat or two.

West Texas A&M University is a short 5 minute drive to the West and Palo Duro Canyon is less than 15 minutes to the East.
