Breathtaking views of mountains with a sandy beach only a 2 minute walk away and a boat launch steps away. Hiking and snowmobile trails directly behind you, and only a 40 minute drive to Sugarloaf Ski Resort.

Everything was great and as expected. This was our third time staying there. The only issue was that something had leaked under the kitchen sink before we got there. Look forward to next year.

Fantastic Mini Vaca!

Property is as shown in pictures. It has everything! The location couldn't be any better. The owner was so fabulous to communicate with. She answered our questions very promptly. So much space! We cannot wait to come back. Seriously, I use VRBO all the time and this rental was 5-Star+++++. I would like to be friends with the owner. She is just great!

Great spot by the lake

Had a great stay by the lake. Plenty of room to stretch out. Nice area. The house was clean & well equipped; Keurig coffee machine, ice maker on fridge, toaster, outdoor grill. Spent a bit of time on the reclining chairs & couch. Would book again!

Peaceful location near Embden Pond

Relaxing, comfortable house. Easy walk to pond and swimming. Nice appliances and comfortable beds and furniture. Easy drive to Rangeley, Skowhegan, Farmington and other locations. We had a pleasant stay, however outside could use some TLC (weeds, pine needle clumps over entrance, bbq cover was left on ground, trash on outside table and in yard around fire pit). Also host contact info not provided (had to request from VRBO shortly before trip) and house GPS location and rules/updated info were either not accurate or not provided (TV was subscription streaming only). Had to text host on way to get better location and was not aware of only Keurig coffee maker (and no pods provided). We had to purchase an auto-drip coffee maker for our stay. Our past experience with VRBO hosts included much more forthcoming location and house amenities information. Also toasters, pans, and cookie sheets had not been cleaned in some time and upstairs queen bed frame needs tightening.

A very nice lake house

We enjoyed our stay a lot. Embden Pond is beautiful.Our family especially enjoyed the kayaks provided and the little pool in the stream by the dam. The cottage was very clean and well appointed. Thank you,Kayla, for your hospitality.

Girl’s getaway

We had a fabulous time in this lovely home! Enjoyed the sunset, swimming at the beach, going for morning walks and spending evenings around the fire pit! We’ll be back!

Awesome

A wonderful vacation spot by the lake very quiet and enjoyable the house was immaculate, and we enjoyed every minute of it. The only complaint that I would have was that the yard was not taken care of so we had to pay to have the yard mowed so we can enjoy the immediate surrounding area, we like to barbecuing and playing outdoor games I would recommend this place to everyone

A must stay …..

From the start of the reservation to the final leave it was smooth sailing. Kayla was very quick to respond and answering any questions I had . This stay was partly for catering my brothers wedding which was in Lexington, so perfect location and 20 mins away. The home did not lack for anything !! And I mean anything ! There was EVERYTHING kitchen supplies , which I needed 😉….central air because who doesn’t love a quick escape from all that humidity🤔… lots of room ! Dining area, lots of stuff for children which we didn’t need because our kids are grown ,washer and dryer , linens , 2 bathrooms , tvs in every room ! The kitchen was absolutely perfect for what I needed to do for my catering, a VERY short 3 min walk to a cute sandy beach right next to the house and you could see the lake from the kitchen and living room . Nice patio table set outside and a fire pit for those chilly nights which we didn’t have 😬you are able to walk to the dock and swim there ,which we did and the water is magical and soo clear and clean . There is a fun little dam which you can sit on and dangle your toes and just listen to the water …so very peaceful. Buttt the best part was there was 3 kayaks to take out on the lake and enjoy! We had the most beautiful day on the lake and it was just sooo relaxing and fun to do .. which we needed. The only downfall for us, is that we didn’t want to leave 😉 we felt very much at home and I would recommend this home away from home to anyone !

Beautiful property

We had an amazing time in this gorgeous house with the most beautiful views! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay. The only small issue we had was the keypad at the front door was kinda tricky to figure out, even when following the instructions. But we eventually figured it out and had a great time!

Nice place!

Very cozy, clean and good access to Snowmobile and Fish. Super nice people and they get right back to you if you have any questions. We had a group of 7 and plenty of room. The gift basket they left was awesome in case someone forgot essentials.

Great Winter Getaway

Wonderful time in a winter wonder land. It was our home base for hiking and skiing. Great communication with the hosts, clean, cozy…. Beautiful location would love to come back in the summer as well!

We had a blast here for the weekend on the trails! Kayla was very easy to get in touch with and the house was perfect for us. We stayed here before through the previous owners, and Kayla kept it just as it was!

Great Stay at Embden Pond

We had a great weekend birdhunting in the Embden Pond area and staying at this home. Kayla was a great host, easy to get ahold of and very friendly, and of course our stay was wonderful. The cabin was very clean, spacious and homey, the beds were comfortable, and the view of the pond was fabulous with easy access to the boat launch. Our favorite space in the home was the living area and the kitchen, we listened to music, watched movies and there were plenty of game options, lots of fun to be had with the view of the pond right out the windows. We look forward to coming back this winter to ice fish Embden Pond and head up north to Sugarloaf for some skiing. We highly recommend staying at this home away from home.
