Welcome to our modern cabin in Ucluelet!

SITKA CABIN: Our property is located just a short walk away from the beach, and walking distance to everything in Ucluelet. We have designed our cabins to maximize the efficiency of 400 square feet, while still providing all the amenities you need to make your stay enjoyable. Our cabins feature an outdoor shower, modern kitchen, private deck, lots of windows and an extra large skylight to keep the space bright and give a feeling of being immersed in nature. Enjoy the breathtaking covered outdoor deck space perched amongst the tree canopy with ocean, mountain, and forest top views. Perfect for small families or a few adults, this creative two story design makes what we believe is the most thoughtful use of space, with two bedrooms on the main level - one with a queen bed and a sliding glass door that leads to the outdoor shower, and the other with a bunk bed (double bed and twin bed). When you stay in our cabins, you will be able to enjoy the beauty of nature while still having the convenience of being in brand new construction with luxuries of the modern day living.

Please note:
• The cabin is thoughtfully designed to maximize space, with limited storage (no large closets or dressers). Guests can use wall hooks, under-bed drawers, and a waterproof storage bench for bags and boots.
• Shared Level 2 Tesla EV charger onsite (1 charger shared between 4 cabins).
• Seasonal outdoor shower (closed during colder months).
• No washer/dryer onsite; a local laundromat is available nearby.
• Guests have access to a small shared waterfront area beside the main house — perfect for wildlife viewing and watching boats pass by.

Nootka Cabin is located on an acre of land with three additional cabins in addition to the main house where the owners reside. Sitka, Nootka, Orca & Eagle Cabin are all available to rent. If you are a group looking to book all the cabins please contact Tofino Vacation Rentals directly.

Host Rules:
• Maximum occupancy: 3 adults, or a family of 4 (2 adults + 2 small children).
• Peak summer season (July-August): 3-night minimum stay, with bookings required to be back-to-back to avoid gaps.
• All Canadian Statutory Holiday weekends require a 3-night minimum stay.
• Strict quiet hours: 10pm–8am. Please be respectful of neighbours and the surrounding community.
• One dog under 40 lbs may be allowed with prior owner approval. Sorry, no cats.
• Cancellation Policy: Full refund with a minimum of 30 days’ notice. Reservations cancelled within 30 days of arrival are non-refundable.

We really enjoyed our four nights in Sitka cabin. Lovely location, well equipped kitchen - all you could want really. Short walk down to the beach, and very close (by car) e.g. to the Lighthouse Loop.It was great for the three of us, and I’d recommend it for any small group.

We enjoyed our stay. The space was a bit smaller than anticipated, but served us well.The downstairs bedrooms did not heat up when we used the downstairs thermostat.It would be great if there were hooks in the bathroom for clothes and towels.Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay

Thank you as well for the heads-up regarding the floor heating, and for allowing us to get that working for you the next morning. It just needed the thermostat reset, and voilà—the heat came back on. It was perfect.

We stayed in a modern cabin; very neat, compact and stylish in design. The beds were extremely comfortable and in such a peaceful environment we had a really restful time after our busy and active days exploring the amazing coastal trails and fabulous forests. Plus taking in whale watching from Tofino. It was perfect.

The cabin was spotless when I arrived, and was exactly as described on the website. Perfect for my pet friendly getaway, away from the busy noise of life. Great location, out of the way of town and the hustle, but still close enough to walk everywhere I needed to go. Close to the Wild Pacific Trail and everything Ukee has to offer. Bonus having Mint Cleaning amenities in the suite! Will definitely be back, and can't wait to book with TVR again!

Great Location

My daughter & I stayed here for a little mother's day getaway and it was so perfect. Everything was very clean and the location was quiet and beautiful. The welcome treat was a great added touch! My daughter thought the layout was really cool too :) would stay again!

Perfect Size for a Family of 4

I was a little surprised at how small our cabin really was, but it made for an intimate time with my family. It was the perfect size for our family of 4. The place was also very clean and the check in process was so easy.

Great hideaway in Ucluelet

Compact and bijou property, and great for exploring Ucluelet peninsula / Tofino. Loved the outdoor shower ... just please I wasn't in it when the bear was prowling around!

Nice little cottage

Nice, modern, well-equipped property in a quiet neighborhood. The unit we stayed in was a little small, so pack lightly because there is zero closet space. Overall, while this was the priciest of accommodations on our two-week vacation to British Columbia (I believe you can save money by booking directly with this property), we enjoyed our time in Ucluelet.

Exactly as advertised

The property is in a great location to get to trails in Ucluelet and a short drive to Tofino. As others have mentioned, it is a tiny home and there isn't any storage. lots of hooks on the walls though. The posted photos clearly show exactly what the interior looks like. Very clean place and loved the toiletries in the shower (body wash, shampoo, conditioner). I don't think I've ever seen a VRBO property with so many towels! Lovely bedding also. Be aware the mattresses are memory foam.

Our Review of small Cabin Modern

Hi, the first impression was great I think mainly that was due to the near perfect condition of the cottage being nearly brand new. But the following was a bit of a letdown after 3 nights at the place. While everything was there, clean and well-appointed something were not that great. 1. No place to hang a jacket; a couple of hooks will be nice. 2. Because it is a small Cottage even shoes etc. will be in the way. 3. No place to put a suitcase except on the floor tripping hazard. 4. Ventilation in bedrooms non existing needed to have external door open. 5. Heating (very Hot) unit in Living room started to melted our travel cooler (It is to low and could cause a fire) luckily we smelled the smoke. Should be relocated or something (Gage) to prevent anything close to it. 6. While the Faucets and all other fixtures are cool looking and modern that does not mean practical/ convenient or pleasant. 7. The Bathtub is like a box, narrow with no rounded inside corners or a sloped area at the head site. It is absolutely not comfortable and you are glad to get out of it as soon as possible. 8. Now the TV, 2 remotes only one works (the small one) there is no manual for it, you get a lot of possibilities none work only the Roku TV it did cost me many hours to find what works the last day I had it figured out. MANUAL PLEASE.

Hello Marinus, Thank you for taking the time to write your review and we are sorry to hear about your struggles. We wish we had know about some of your concerns as you were a guest so we could have helped with any questions or concerns. We do send many messages checking in on our guests(by email, text and calling) yet we never heard back from you. Our apologies we did not connect. The newly built cabins is 400 sq ft with limited storage and is more suitable for those who travel light. We do understand the need for hooks as well as a place to store shoes. The owner has ordered hooks that are to be installed and additional storage will be placed outside the cabin. The heating system is up to code so rest assure it is safe but we have gone ahead and placed a sign requesting guest do not place items in front of any heating ducts as that can pose as a safety hazard. Sorry that was not made clear to you before you checked in. We have also created a manual to help our guest use the TV remotes, our apologies that was also not made clear for you while you were a guest. We really appreciate the feedback and will implement a few changes as per your review. Thank you

Sitka Cabin is located only minutes away from the town centre of Ucluelet and is the last property before 30 acres of island forest that gives way to the open ocean towards Barkley Sound. There are regular daily visits from eagles, sea lions, otters, seals, and occasionally killer, humpback, and grey whales. Keep an eye out for our resident deer family that grazes around the cabins. The cabin is a short walk to kayak tours, fishing charters, the world-renowned Wild Coast Trail, or several whale and wildlife tour outfits.
