You can't beat the views from the screened in porch and it is so nice to look out and see the ocean while cooking. The kitchen is nicely stocked and the extra large dining table makes it perfect for games. The ping-pong table and hammock are always a big hit! The direct beach access is great! As always, the host is awesome to work with and checks in during your stay to make sure things are going well.

We loved our stay. The house is beautiful. We really loved the huge screened porch. My grandson loved all the toys and my adult kids loved the ping pong table. The area is beautiful and we would definitely stay here again.

Great house! Location and views are wonderful. Felt very private but also conveniently located on OBW and a quick drive to bridge. House is nicely furnished with comfortable chairs, sofas and beds! Bedrooms are spacious and bathrooms are nice with plenty of space and countertops. Loved the kitchen and its layout. Everything you need and more! Really appreciated the recycling and laundry/utility room. The outdoor spaces at the house are really nice. We enjoyed the large screened porch as well as the sunny patio and view of the ocean. The covered game room on the lower level was lots of fun too! Thanks for a memorable week! Highly recommend!

Lovely stay at the king crab!

We loved our annual stay at the King Crab! We look forward to it every year. We love having thr beach right out doors and the screened in porch to relax and watch the sunsets. We’ve been renting this house every year for 5 years we love it so.

Fantastic Family Stay

The King Krab was the perfect house for my family's vacation! My 3-year-old loved all the space and toys the home had to offer, and us adults thoroughly enjoyed the large kitchen and screened-in back deck. The beach being such a short walk down the private boardwalk was an added bonus. The owner was prompt with answers and information any time we needed something, and the house was clean, well maintained, and comfortable! We will definitely be back!

Our family had a wonderful time at this beach house. The house was perfect (kitchen stocked with everything you’ll need), the beach was perfect (wonderful shelling) and the weather was beautiful. Beds are comfortable, plenty of seating. Screened porch is amazing. Ping pong is a plus!

Wonderful home and host

This home was very clean, comfortable, impeccably decorated and the kitchen was well stocked. The screen porch provided a wonderful view of the beach. The host was very responsive. We had a wonderful time and want to return.

King Krab a must stay when at Holden Beach

The King Krab is a great house for the family to enjoy Holden Beach. The rooms are clean, the kitchen has all the amenities . The kids love looking at all the crab and ocean life trinkets around the inside of this house. The outdoor deck and access to this quiet beach is the best part of staying at the King Krab. We will rent again.

Another amazing year at the King Crab!

Staying at the King Crab is a family tradition! The beach was lovely and not too crowded. We enjoyed the baby birds nest in the outdoor area. We swam, ate at Mermaids, slided on the slides, played board games and enjoyed the beach. See you next year!

Christmas Vacation

King Krab was perfect for our Christmas family vacation. Screened in porch is the perfect spot to relax and watch the sunrise and set. Large dining table which was perfect for plating cards, games etc.. House is in a great location. Weather was great for a December stay. Highly recommend. 👍

Wonderful family house on the beach

The best beach week we’ve had! The house is fun and beautiful, with its updated and well equipped kitchen to the transformed garage turned game room. Even stocked with inside and outside games.The most amazing was the screened porch all along the back, facing the beach. We hope to return next summer!

King Awesomeness

The house was perfect for our 84 year old dad to move around in and feel apart of the daily activities with the rest of the family. The host was very responsive on questions in the beginning and then checking in with us during our stay.

We are a family of 4 and have now seen our kids grow up while owning this house. It is part of our family and our 'Golden Jewel'. We use it all year long when we are not renting it. We love owning this solid home and have put a lot of time, money, sweat & love into keeping this home beautiful.

When we were looking to buy a beach house, we looked at a lot of beaches and houses! The first time we walked into this home we told the realtor 'That we are done looking. This is the house we want'. Holden Beach is close enough to Wilmington, NC and Myrtle Beach, SC (40 miles each way) that you can make a nice day trip there if you like. Holden Beach has been annually ranked in the country as a top 10 family beach. Holden Beach is an island with over 8 miles of clean sandy beaches. There is hardly any commercialization on the island. No building is over 2 stories tall!!! You also have access to some of the best seafood restaurants on the coast or you can buy it fresh and cook it at our home. Crabs are easily caught (Email us for info) and easy to prepare especially at The Krab.

Just sitting on the screen porch and rocking away while starring at the moon is all that needs to be said (with or without cigar and beverage). Or venture out further and walk on the beach and let the water wash away all your worries. Or if it rains... play ping pong or corn hole in the enclosed garage. We are really close to a bunch of Golf resorts and ice cream establishments.
