No need to find the rental company, your gear will be delivered to your beach house and will be waiting for your arrival.

A Beautiful home

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a beautiful home. It was spacious for our family of 11 and the wrap around porch offered a wonderful place to sit and have coffee in the morning or cocktails in the evening. I hate to say anything negative about a place we have stayed but this house needs some attention. It is all things that can be easily remedied. The cleaning staff needs to do a better job of cleaning. We found crumbs all inside the kitchen drawers and pantry area. Ceiling fans need to be cleaned as their was dust hanging off of them. There seems to be an electrical issue with the lights. Some came on in the middle of the night and some we couldn’t figure out how to turn them off all the way, ceiling fans would automatically come on and then automatically go off. We sent a message asking about the lights and fans but never got a response. We were going to use the pull out sofa but the mattress had seen a better day and a sheet had been left on it. Some beds didn’t have mattress pads on them and sheets were put on like whoever did it was in a rush and just didn’t care. All of that being said - the property and location were very nice. It was easy to get to the beach. The rented umbrellas and chairs were great. The pool was beautiful and a good size but definitely needed some umbrellas around it as there wasn’t enough shade to accommodate all the chairs. We did enjoy our stay but it could have been better.

Fabulous spring break

It was amazing. The house was exactly how it was pictured online, the location was perfect. Loved the neighborhood. Wish there were a few more stores and the lights were a little complicated but it was still absolutely amazing. Would definitely come back. Loved that there was a bathroom in every room and an extra shower. Comes in handy with teenagers!!!

Home smelled musty but nothing a little airing out couldn’t solve. Nice layout conducive to family gatherings. “Bedroom” on main floor has little to no privacy however has a full bath. Community is growing and is great. Nice restaurant on site, very clean beaches, great for a family. Home does need to be cleaned better. My feet were very dirty from our first night cooking in the kitchen. Dishes were dirty from previous renters. Blinds, pocket doors and master shower knob all broken. Lights are difficult to manage in home. Our nephew encountered a cockroach crawling on while he slept (I do understand FL is notorious for bugs-still disgusting). We did raise a concern regarding the missing coffee pot that was quickly rectified. Last email regarding broken blinds, etc. never received a response.

Very comfortable house for a large group

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: With 3 master king suites the Captain Morgan was a large comfortable house for our group of 12. The kids really liked the bunk room and separate living room for playing games and the outside sand play area. The large porches are a real plus and the privacy on several sides. We would stay here again. The Baytowne rental employees were very responsive to our questions. Location is very convenient to the large community pool. My one frustration was with the pushbutton light switches- there needs to be a label panel for every room - and the ceiling fan slide switches do not have a normal high setting.

We also loved the open feeling downstairs, too. We had many great meals in the dining area, and the large kitchen was terrific for prepping. The porches were a favorite with the kids, and a side yard for some games. Neighborhood is great for biking, we enjoyed the 4th of July parade there, too. The beach was easy to access, with calmer waters on this side of Cape San Blas, but a bit of storm related seaweed. Property is so close to Port St. Joe with restaurants, shopping, and great fishing on the bay. Everyone had fun.

Summer vacation

We had a good time in spite of car trouble one right after the other. Cons: I can say the house was nice but does need a few things maintained, such as dishwasher door adjustment, a few plastic containers with lids. We left a few . Also it would have been so helpful to have shower outside to get sand off of yourself before coming in house. We swept floors daily. We went bought hose pipe and left it for next guest convenience. It would have been so nice to have a table /chairs outside on porch to enjoy eating playing card games . The wood board walk all over the area need replacing bad. We got several splinters and tripped a couple of time from broken, rotten, lifted boards. Pool area nice but needs cleaning daily due to amount of guest in it and pine needles around it. The play area for kids needs an over haul completely. We were afraid to let our two year old play without us being right by him. Positives: House has plenty of space and enough bathrooms comfortable for all of us.

Reviewer Comments: The home itself was roomy and laid out well, but we had constant problems with functionality. The electrical system which uses buttons was impossible to master. We even had problems turning lights on and off. We couldn’t get one of the ceiling fans to stay on. We couldn’t get the dishwasher to come on either. Two of the homes TVs would not come on at all. Relative to Windmark, the board walk system is in terrible shape. It is in serious need of RE decking and RE-railing. The on-site restaurant was nothing to write home about, and the mixed drinks were weak.

Great house, Great location!

We have stayed in the Windmark area before, we love the location, the pool, the boardwalks, the store. and we love this house! The house is very spacious, lots of room to spread out. close to the beach, boardwalks leading up to the front door, quiet, nice sandy yard perfect for badminton. Property managers were so quick to respond and help, very well run! We will definitely be staying here again! The only negatives would be lack of kitchen towels and washcloths(only two), and there are no "little extras" like board games, puzzles, not even a deck of cards, no beach chairs, nets for crabs, or even just a volleyball or Frisbee.

Lovely Home & Community

Captain Morgan is a beautiful home in the lovely Windmark Beach community. We especially loved the large kitchen and open floor plan downstairs. The beach was a short 5-minute walk via the boardwalk which is just outside your door! I recommend a wagon if you have a bunch of beach gear to take with you. The View on 98 restaurant was excellent and if you sit outside, you can catch the sunset while dining. Lastly, the fitness center was super nice and had everything I needed to get in a good workout while we were there. I would’ve given the house 5-stars if the beds were more comfortable. For a house so nice, I would’ve expected better mattresses.

Beautiful house!

This house has the PERFECT set-up for a larger family/group! It is absolutely beautiful! However the cleaning staff needs work. Overall clean with the exception of being able to see out the windows and all the glass doors. Make sure to bring a wagon to haul all of your necessities to the beach because it is a pretty good walk if you are carrying any more than a beach bag with towels & sunscreen and a small chair. We rented a golf cart and that was our saving grace because there were sooo many chairs to take!

A total gem!

House was amazing and the location was perfect. A quick walk to the beach and pool. Quiet area with convenient board walks. The house has everything a family needs and enough space for a larger group to not feel crowded. A very special place in every sense. No Worries Vacation Rentals was great to work with and was there to help us have a great week. We can’t wait to go back!

Loved Captain Morgan and Windmark Beach!

The walkways to mostly private beach were awesome! Enjoyed evening walks! I wish we could claim Captain Morgan as our vacation spot every year. The house and property managers amazing! Two drawbacks: we wanted blue water and pool could have used a cleaning.

Super experience.

This was our 2nd stay at Captain Morgan. All was perfect. Plenty of space for all of us and a wonderful location for the kids to ride bikes safely. Big kids would like waves at the beach but moms were happy with a calm surf. Can’t wait to come again.
