We arrived around 9 PM. We did not receive our check in instructions. We had to message the host, wait 5-7 minutes then we received our door code...We walk in exhausted from a days travel and the first thing we see is a cockroach. The next morning we saw another. We contacted them to let them know, they said they would send someone out the next morning to treat and set traps, and they never did. I understand Florida has roaches, but when they are properly treated you should not see them.

Property was very nice and we loved the area. We felt the kitchen needed to be stocked a little better, needs more silverware. We only had 4 spoons and very few bowls. Our daughter slept on the fold out couch and even though she was fairly comfortable she felt like it was a little worn and it's time for a new matttess. Our biggest concern was the patio which was huge but needs to be furnished better. There was a table with 3 chairs and one of those was broken so all 3 of us couldn't sit out there together. That patio . Some new furniture out there would make a big difference.

This rental was not what I expect at Sandestin. I go every year for a business meeting, but had a smaller staff group this year and booked a smaller condo. MISTAKE. The pull-out couch was "unsleepable". The worn, 3" foam mattress didn't even have a mattress cover and was no better than trying to sleep on the metal frame. While clean sheets were provided, there was no blanket for pull-out bed. There was a cup holder in the shower, but no place to put a bar of soap or a bottle of shampoo. There were no directions for the TV, so while there MAY have been service, we could find no active streaming service or cable option. The condo has a large deck, but no comfortable seating, only four dining chairs with dry rot rips in the seats. Usually, check in information is in the app a day or two before check in. I had to email the host on the day of check in to get it. Thoroughly disappointing.
