Beautiful corner view loft in downtown Champaign.

Centrally located in the heart of downtown Champaign, our apartment enjoys one of the best views available! Your group will enjoy easy access to the bars, restaurants, and shops of downtown. The University of Illinois is just a few blocks away and public transportation stations, including Amtrak and city buses are within two blocks.

Downtown Champaign is truly a gem. Some of the best food and drink in the area can be found just steps away. You can find our favorites in our digital house manual! The neighborhood also boasts truly unique shops, such as Ten Thousand Villages, a beautiful shop full of fair-trade artisan goods. Find it just below the apartment!

The community is full of entrepreneurs and artists, so the scene downtown is always lively and changing.

The location is unique and sought after, but please be aware that a downtown location comes with some outside noise. We have placed white noise machines in all the bedrooms for anyone who is sensitive to city noise.

If you’re driving, we offer access to a dedicated parking spot in the Hill Street Parking Deck (find the map in the digital house manual) by providing you with the parking pass and access key card. If lost, there will be a $50 replacement fee. There is paid parking in front of the Loft. On weekends it is free.

This property has a noise alert monitoring system in order to ensure that neighborhood noise levels are respected. There is no electronic video surveillance monitoring on the interior of the house.

Very pleased

This property offered a great location and was overall very clean. Very easy to communicate with the owners and we had little to no issues here. Parking garage is a little bit of a walk and the great location also means that it is quite noisy at night time from the busy intersection. Very pleased and I would stay here again!

Great place to stay

It was perfect for 6 adults. It was a wonderful place to relax between conference times. I loved the way it was decorated. Greg is easy to get ahold of by text and email. We would love to stay there again.

Beautiful Spacious Loft

My family stayed in this beautiful, spacious loft for Dad's weekend. We were so pleased with the size, decor, and location. The owners were helpful and responded to emails promptly. We were impressed with how clean the loft was and that all the furniture / beds were very comfortable. It was a great stay in a great place.

My parents and sister and her husband stayed at Village View Loft for Thanksgiving and it was wonderful! Great ambiance, service, and overall experience!! Beautifully decorated and stocked - super clean as well! Really appreciate Greg and the little details! Will definitely use again!

Absolutely beautiful loft!

What a wonderful spacious loft! It had everything we needed. It was immaculate with the best views! The first night we were there the air conditioner wasn’t working but the owner immediately responded and it was fixed the next morning. Amazing trip and would not hesitate to stay again! Highly recommended!

Fantastic downtown location

The place was perfect for our visit to see our son's graduation. The location is in the heart of downtown and is walkable to so many great eating places. From the kitchen table you can see and hear all the action happening. We loved the decor - lots of beautiful little touches - plants, art, books and blankets. The host was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely recommend this place.

Great Experience

Greg was a great host and the property was exactly what we were looking for. Accommodating and responsive, I highly recommend this listing to anyone wanting to spend a few nights in urbana so nearby to the campus and downtown area. No complaints to give, all was well and great beyond expectations!

Great apartment

We had a great stay in this apartment. It had everything we needed and was really clean. Loved all the extra touches, the owners put a lot of effort in making sure you have anything you might need. The garage was a few minute walk but it wasn’t bad. I would definitely stay again and hope to use it again over the next few years

Great place - would use again!

Clean. The property manager was quick to respond (we had a small issue with the dryer) and fix anything that might be the problem. Well appointed kitchen. Plenty of linens and towels. We had a lovely time in this apartment.

Close to everything

Very nice condo that is right in downtown Champaign and close to the university. Only concern was walking from parking garage to condo at night. It’s a short walk at least - just is not something we realized initially. Still was overall extremely happy with the condo and its great location.

Fantastic location!

I came to visit my son at UIUC and stayed in this lovely home. It exceeded my expectations. They certainly left no stone unturned to take care of your every need. They truly thought of everything from a kitchen stocked with your favorite coffees and teas, along with a basket of local chocolates on the counter, to beautifully decorated rooms and free parking. The main living area is open concept and very spacious. We had a wonderful time stepping out the front door and visiting the local restaurants and charming boutiques. Will definitely be back again!

Perfect location for this adorable unit

We absolutely loved our stay in this unit. Everything worked perfectly. The host was extremely attentive to correspondences. I am sure I must have driven him crazy at first! The unit was very clean. The location was perfect for easy walks to coffee shops and restaurants. It can be a bit noisy due to ambulances and garbage trucks but sound machines in all rooms took care of that very nicely. It was an easy walk to a parking garage for free parking for one car. There ARE steps to access the unit so be aware of that. The kitchen looks totally updated. It was also very well stocked. We were totally pleased and hope to stay here in the future. This was a gem of a find.

Village View Loft

We had an absolutely amazing time on our visit to Champaign, and staying at Village View Loft was one of the main reasons. This was the cleanest place we’ve ever stayed. There was so much room-we had 5 adults and not once did we feel cramped or on top of each other. We had some great conversations around the dining table, watching the goings on in the neighborhood. There were so many cool places to eat and drink within walking distance, just the perfect location. There were white noise machines in the bedrooms if you’re not used to sleeping with city sounds, however, I slept great without it. This place has everything you need. Everything. We had plenty of towels, blankets, coffee, charging outlets, dishes, everything. We had no problems, but the owner was responsive to all of our questions. I really can’t say enough, this was such a great place! I kind of wish it was mine! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay. Keep doing what you’re doing, we had a wonderful weekend!
