Remodeled Historical Home In Bourbonnais.

The Legris Home is one of the last historical homes in Bourbonnais. The original log cabin home was built in 1857 by Joseph Legris. The home still has a number of unique features from years ago. Currently the home features 5 bedrooms, 4 baths, 2 large living spaces, incredible gourmet kitchen, a grand island with a breakfast bar and stainless-steel appliances. The property includes two master suites with king size beds. This property could be utilized as muti-use event space. The heated garage has been converted over to a 700 square foot event room which could host a family reunion, baby shower, wedding shower, corporate party and much more. (Additional Cost) The property also includes Wi-Fi, TV's, large yard, first floor master, eat-in kitchen and hardwood floors throughout. Make your reservation today!!

This venue was great for our party of 7 adults. This remodeled historical home provided everything needed and the party room suited our needs perfectly. Amanda and Scott were always available with great communication. We would highly recommend this venue if you're looking for a stay in this area.
The property has a full height flagpole where we were able to fly our flag for our occasion.
The party room, rented separately was very reasonably priced and offered us a great option for our gathering.
The home is in a great location right on Main Street, close to everything.

Felt like home

As the youngest of five, my siblings and their 1 felt right at home at The Legris house. Bradley is our childhood community and it was wonderful to be right in the middle of the community and walk wherever we wanted. Thank you Irps family for taking this home and renovating it and bringing some local history for all of us to enjoy. And the floors!!! Just amazing.

Wedding Family

We came to stay for our son’s wedding. The groom and groomsmen were able to get ready at the house on the day of, while being able to eat some lunch before the festivities also. The house was the perfect size for what we needed and was very comfortable. If we ever need a house for that many again, we will be back!

Great house for a family or friends group.

We came together as a family in town for a Celebration of Life. It was a great location, close to other family members who live near by. The house was comfortable and we could spread out.

Convenient and historic property

We had 8 people, 3 generations of family traveling for an extended family gathering nearby. The Legris house was super clean, convenient, and well appointed. The host was very communicative and process was as easy as can be. We will definitely stay here when traveling to the area.

Historical Beauty

So grateful we found this place while our family was here celebrating my Daughter’s wedding! My oldest Daughter kept commenting on how nice this Vrbo was! The updates and decor were exceptional! It certainly had all the charm and character that surpassed our expectations. It was comfortable and clean! I would definitely recommend staying at this vrbo!

Beautiful home! Perfect for a large family event!

The house was open and comfortable for everyone. Very family friendly. Beautifully decorated. Our family members were 1-80 in age. Each generation felt comfortable and felt the house was easy to get around. Close to Olivet Nazarene University.

Stayed here with family for a mini staycation. Amanda was extremely helpful with the booking process and answered all of my questions in a timely manner prior to staying. The home was very lovely. It was everything we could ever ask for!

Board Retreat

Great experience overall! The space was perfect for our Board retreat with plenty of space. Cute, super clean decor throughout the house with updated amenities and a classic farmhouse charm. It seems this may be a relatively new rental with the only recommendation for improvement being to make sure supplies are in all baths. Supplies were there, just not in each bath. Other than that, would recommend this rental.
