Located in Kankakee, this bungalow is a dream. With 3 bedrooms including 2 twin beds and 2 queen beds, guests will find comfort and space to unwind. The 1.5 bathrooms come fully equipped with all traveling essentials for short-term or mid-term stays.
Included are lovely views along the Kankakee River and close access to walking trails that extend from the South Band neighborhood past River Road Park. Enjoy beautiful eagles, blue herons, hawks, geese, ducks, and other lovely species of birds. Located directly across from the Historic District of Kankakee it boasts not just one, but two Frank Lloyd Wright houses. Experience what Kankakee has to offer with a stay at our enchanting bungalow.

We had a great stay, the home was beautiful inside and out, being right on the river with beautiful patio as well. It was so convenient that everything you need for your stay is supplied including plenty of kitchen utensils, pots/pans, toiletries, etc. Everything was very clean, comfortable, & relaxing. Would definitely stay here again & recommend friends/family that are visiting in the area! Thank you for everything!

Great riverfront spot for a nice get together with friends or just to relax. Host is very communicative and kind. This was easily one of the cleanest rentals that I’ve stayed in and it has everything that you would need.

The property was great, clean and tastefully decorated. Both bedrooms upstairs offer a great view of the river. We are very thankful for the special touches by the owners to celebrate our 35th anniversary. Great vacation memories.

Mary was very welcoming and helpful. She answered all of our questions promptly. We stayed in the winter, so couldn't enjoy the river, but the house was immaculate and very comfortable, the location is convenient and the view is amazing.

Wonderful home with lovely beds and an incredible outdoor space overlooking the river, perfect for relaxing with a small group of friends. Mary was super easy to communicate with and even let us in early, which helped us out a bunch! We loved the commitment to the mermaid/nautical aesthetic.
