Located in the beautiful and quiet gated community of Biscayne, your family will enjoy beach life at its best, nestled along the dunes of Crystal Beach. With 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths, the home is large but feels cozy and comfortable. This custom-built beach house offers over 2500 square feet of living space that showcases the gulf view and was built for leisure time with friends and loved ones. Wild Dunes Cottage offers great outdoor deck furniture for morning coffee, sunbathing or enjoy the outdoor dining table, with seating for 8, while feasting on the catch of the day! On ground level, you will find a built-in bar, Adirondack chairs, picnic table, hammock, and hot/cold outdoor shower. Amazing new addition to our rental program, this beachfront beauty is loaded with amenities and is the perfect choice for your next Crystal Beach getaway.

Great property for a family vacation!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at Wild Dunes Cottage and each room was spacious for each guest with plenty of bathrooms to go around. Just a note, guests who stay in the primary downstairs bedroom need sleep masks to get rest unless you like to be woken up by blinding sunlight every day of your vacation at 6am so we didn't get the rest we wanted but enjoyed our time with our family thoroughly and would definitely rent this cabin again as long as room darkening shades are installed. ;)

Great location, house needs work

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’ll start off by saying the location of this house is great, but the house itself was the problem. We had a very nice time on the beautiful, quiet beach. So we are definitely going to rent again in the Biscayne neighborhood, but find a different rental because this house needs some attention. At the price point of the rental and location in the gated community of Biscayne, there is an expectation of cleanliness and condition of a home that just wasn’t meant. 1. The worst thing was the overwhelming musty smell in the house. We think this was coming from a leaky dishwasher because there was visible mold in the cabinets around that area of the kitchen. 2. There was also roach droppings in several kitchen drawers. And the rust was so bad on most of the cookware, we didn’t feel comfortable using them to cook. 3. There was a coffee pot that had both a drip coffee side and Keurig side. However the Keurig side didn’t work, but we only brought Keurig cups from home for coffee. So yes, a somewhat small issue that we had to go to the store for ground coffee and filters, but again, there is an expectation of a beachfront home in Biscayne that the coffee pot should work as intended. 4. The deck is in disrepair. Not only is it in need of fresh paint, but deck screws were sticking up in several places so I couldn’t even let my kids come out on the deck in bare feet.We brought all this to the attention of the Cobb staff after we left and they did seem like they intended to fix everything. So if this house is thoroughly cleaned, the leak is remedied and mold removed, kitchenware replaced, and the deck repaired, then the house would be great.

Love Cobb, didn’t love this house

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a home with beautiful intentions, it’s spacious. The toilet in the master bath had a broken handle, there was mildew on the walls, around the vents. Downstairs none of the lights worked. No one can help a hurricane, but note that if it’s raining, the copious standing water surrounding the property breeds mosquitoes and any time we opened a door they swarmed. There was no breeze and no fan on the porch. I would not stay here again.

A Very comfortable Vacation home for multi-family stay

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wild Dunes Cottage was very comfortable and was in a perfect location for our needs. We made three trips over to Galveston so ferry access was handy. This seemed to be a quieter area of the beach so that was a plus. There were a few issues, but Cobb handled it very professionally. Found a new favorite restaurant ( Tia Juanita's Fish Camp ) and enjoyed all of the old favorites like Stingaree.
