Rental Experience at Jeff's CondoWe rented Jeff's condo for a period of two weeks. Upon our arrival, we immediately noticed that the condo was not very clean. A bicycle had been left in the entrance, along with debris that it had brought into the unit. The overall first impression was disappointing due to these cleanliness issues.The deck area contained many old and poorly maintained plants. In order to access the master bedroom from the deck, we had to move a few of these plants. The plastic pots holding the plants were very fragile, and one of them broke during the move.The kitchen lacked basic amenities. There was no plug for the kitchen sink, which meant we had to do our dishes in a bowl. The dishwasher was unusable as it leaked water all over the floor. Many of the kitchen amenities were not clean, and one cupboard, specifically the one containing the Tupperware, emitted a very unpleasant odour. We were not able to determine the source of the smell, but it was quite off-putting.The toilets had not been properly cleaned prior to our arrival. In particular, the toilet in the second bedroom leaked continuously throughout our stay.The bedding provided was limited to old sheets and a single old blanket for the master bedroom, which did not meet our expectations for comfort. After our stay, Jeff (John) charged my credit card an additional 270 USD: one charge was for the broken plastic pot and cleaning. We didn't leave the condo dirty. Beware if you decide to rent this.
