Red Rock Retreat at Escondido is the perfect family getaway located a few minutes off of I-15. Surrounded by the beautiful Southern Utah mountains, Escondido is one of the most outstanding communities. This amazing home is close to tons of outdoor adventures; with Sand Hollow, local petroglyphs, and Quail Creek Reservoir being a quick 15-minute drive away. Come explore southern Utah while staying at this gorgeous home, or sit back, relax, and enjoy this wonderful resort with your family!

This newly built 3 bedroom and 2.5 bathroom home can comfortably sleep 10 guests. Red Rock Retreat at Escondido is the perfect home if you are looking for outdoor activities such as hiking in the desert landscape or in our National Parks, viewing the local petroglyphs, swimming at the reservoir or recreation center pool, and golfing at one of the many courses within close driving distance. This home also provides the chance to have a movie night with the family on one of the many Smart TVs included in the home, play ping pong or a game on the Nintendo Switch, or end the night with the cozy outdoor fire pit waiting for you when you get home to enjoy a night under the stars!

Good customer service. Unfortunate series of inconveniences

Overall, my stay was great. I was here for an extended period for work and found the property comfortable, affordable, and in a convenient location. Customer service was responsive and quick, though there were a few misses. The Wi-Fi was not functioning on my first day, and I ended up using the neighbor's connection for the entire stay, which was frustrating since it was a necessity for work. Toward the end of my stay, the water heater went out for two days, so I had to take a few cold showers before it was resolved. Despite those issues, I would stay at a Red Sands property again, just not this particular one due to the mishaps.

Exactly What We Needed

This property was located in a great community. Very well kept inside and out. Owners were accommodating and the communication between host was excellent. The only recommendation I have is a fans in one of the rooms, at times during the night it got a little warm. Regardless it was a wonderful stay. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect place for a family vaca! Pool is amazing!!!

This home was perfect for my family of 5. We enjoyed the pool, all of the amenities, and everything pictured looks exactly like it is. Everything worked great except the local channels dont work. We did get it to hook up but it said they were not subscribed to the service. We also had grear communication with the host with all of our concerns or questions. If you want to play the nintendo switch you do need to bring your own games as there are none at the property. We did use the washer and dryer and they worked perfectly. Also the oven and stove were great especially with a family. We love to get places with kitchens to save money on eating out. We highly recommend this property and we will be booking with them again in the future.

Been coming for years and will continue!

We look forward to this trip every year for spring break and will continue to come! The property is so clean and amazing! Close to everything. Our kids love the pool and slide. Owners are quick to respond. Love this place and look forward to next year!!

Great getaway

Property had a lot of great amenities, but we didn’t take advantage of most of it. Garage has no driveway but there are ample parking spots around the property including room for a trailer

Great stay

We loved our stay. Townhouse was clean, updated, and well kept. The extra supplies (paper towels, plates, utensils, groceries) were a nice touch. We’ve never stayed anywhere with those supplies before . We’d love to stay here again.

Fun house and community

The house was clean, the ping pong table and Foosball were a huge hit. The kids loves playing at the pool and pickleball and it's really close to some mountain biking trails. Unfortunately the queen and king beds were quite uncomfortable. Like sink down into the bed and form a nest for the night. We had a great time, but we were happy to come back to our own beds.

Great wintertime stay

We came with our kids and had a great stay. The kids loved swimming even though it was 40 degrees outside. The pool is heated enough that you can manage intermediate swims in between hot tub pit stops. Location was good, close to the freeway.

Great pool and slide!

We loved the pool, lazy river, pickle ball and slide! The condo was clean and lovely! It had lots of dishes and cups which was awesome! The only issues were very spotty wifi. It was down most of the time we were there and we alerted management but the issue was not resolved. Also the king and queen beds have a pillow top attached to the mattress and were so soft that it made our backs ache. The bunk beds had more firm mattresses and were comfortable. It really was a great place!

Great place for summer fun

We had a group of adults and older teens. The set up was perfect, everyone enjoyed the pickleball courts and the swimming pool each day. It was only a 1 hour drive to Zion national Park. We will definitely stay again!

Great location, amazing pool!

We had such a great time! The pool was incredible, that is all my kids wanted to do! House was clean and just enough space for us all. Location is close to everywhere we wanted to go. We will be back again!!

Super comfortable beds and perfect for a large gathering

I hosted a retreat at this location and was able to fit 12 people at 2 tables comfortably in the downstairs space. It was perfect! Very clean and beautiful. The beds are very comfortable. Will definitely come back!
