This apartment existed on another Short Term Rental for 6 years and has 300+ five stars reviews.
Elegant and spacious private 1BR/1BA suite on the 1st floor in a two-story house. We live on a second floor and always ready to help.

Very nice host, nearly all needs met with soap, shampoo/conditioner, cooking oils, basic spices and vinegars. Kitchen fully functional. The best was quiet and dark sleep, the best kind. Peaceful, quiet location.

We spent two weeks at Gregory and Irina’s apartment and for us it was an ideal experience. Parking is always difficult in San Francisco, but we always found a spot right outside the house. Check in was extremely easy. (Just be aware that there are steep stairs leading down to the door.) The kitchen was fully equipped, and all appliances worked well. The apartment is spacious, quiet, and it was nice to have an en-suite bathroom in the bedroom. Access to a washer and dryer really helped for our longer stay. Questions were immediately answered. We liked that the neighborhood of West Portal was close by.

We enjoyed our stay here very much. The landlord lives with his family on the 1st floor. A very nice family. Everything was very nice. We were always asked if everything is ok or if we need something. The apartment is well equipped and clean. When we go back to San Francisco we are happy to come back to the apartment. Great was that could park for free. Also the environment was very pleasant, quiet and clean. Thank you for everything. Marcel & Thorsten

Just returned from a week's stay at this lovely apartment. Located in a quiet neighbourhood. We didn't need a car as easy access to city by bus as bus stop was a stone's throw from apartment. Would highly recommend if staying in San Francisco. Great hosts too.

I booked this property due to the advertisement of downtown and Golden Gate proximity. I let the landlord know I planned to explore the city by bicycle and I inquired about hills and was told “the apartment is not on a steep hill”. -Come to find out, the apartment is on a very steep hill. Be weary if you commute by bicycle or plan to enjoy walking the nice residential hilly neighborhood. -Since bicycling would be too strenuous we chose to drive/Uber instead. Here were the commute times to where we went: 1. Polo Park 25 minute Uber drive. 2. Chinatown 30 minute drive then 20 minutes to find parking. 3. Ocean Beach 20 minute drive. The basement apartment itself is out of the hustle and bustle of the city, is about a downhill mile to Safeway, and has a comfortable bed and basic accommodations that match the listing description. The owners live upstairs.

Great location, easy jump off for all attractions. Parking was never an issies, almost right outside every evening. Very comfy beds and pillows. Well equiped kitchen with a few basics. Would definitely book aqgain.

Had a very nice time. Quiet street and parking available. Host was communicative prior to trip. Only thing to say is that the bed is very close to the floor.

Nice appartment, comfortable, spaceous, easy access to downtown

We had great 4-days in this appartment. It is spaceous, had everything we needed, even towels had been provided.The contact to the owners was very nice, we got all information in time and they were always there to help. The location of the appartment was for us perfect. Located in a residential area it took us about 30 minutes by bus (bus station is 50m from the appartment) and metro into the city. With a car it is even faster, but the SF public transport is cheap and well organised.The apartment is clean, has a separate bedroom with bathroom and a large living area. The kitchen part ist nice, we enjoyed especially the breakfast at the table view into the garden.There is also an outdoor area which we have not used as we were busy exploring SF :)As it is a residential area it is very quiet, no traffic noise, no noisy tourists :) The house itself is older so you might hear people on the upper floor walking. But this was not loud and was no problem.The area is safe, parking space is available. We enjoyed walking around, escaping the noisy tourist areas in the evening.We can very much recommend this apartment. For us the most important benefits were the location, the size of the appartment and the very nice contact to the owner.Thank you very much for such nice days in SF.

Tolles kleines Appartement für 2 Personen mit Kindern. Nicht so gut geeignet für 4 Erwachsene, da das Badezimmer nur über das Schlafzimmer erreichbar ist. Tolle Lage und sehr schöne Terrasse.

Everything you need for a great stay in San Francisco

Quiet neighborhood, great location, fantastic hosts. We throughly enjoyed our stay. The listing was very accurate. Great host that communicated quickly and accurately. When we come back to San Francisco we will definitely stay here again.

This flat is very comfortable, well equipped and located in a very nice and quiet area. I loved the possibility to run every morning in the park on the Mount Davidson offering a fantastic view on San Francisco. I recommend it 100%
