Our story began under the Southern Utah sun, where nearly two decades of living, working, and exploring this landscape gave us a deep appreciation for the beauty and pace of life here. What started as a simple idea grew into CopperTop Properties—a place where we could share this corner of the desert with others.

We built CopperTop with the goal of creating more than just a place to stay. It’s meant to be a space where you can slow down, spread out, and experience the red rock country the way we’ve come to love it—quiet mornings, wide open views, and nights full of stars.

Kanab is more than just a gateway to adventure—it’s a destination in its own right. Known for its small-town charm and welcoming spirit, it’s also home to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, the largest no-kill sanctuary in the country, reflecting the care and character that make this community special.

From CopperTop, you’re right in the middle of some of the most iconic landscapes in the American West. Day trips to Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon National Park, and Grand Canyon North Rim are all within easy reach.

Even closer to home, you’ll find incredible spots like Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, Pipe Spring National Monument, Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument, and Lake Powell—all perfect for a quick day of exploring. In the winter months, Brian Head Resort offers skiing and snowboarding just a short drive away.

Whether you’re here for hiking, fishing, off-roading, or simply taking in the scenery, the area offers something year-round. Summer days bring endless trails and warm desert evenings, while winter delivers a striking contrast of snow-dusted red rock that feels like something out of a postcard.
