Perfect for 1 or 2 couples or family as the first bedroom has a king bed and the second bedroom has a king bed with an extra long twin trundle. Secluded back yard with private deck and hot tub that is wonderful to soothe muscles after a day of activities. Wall mounted TVs in both bedrooms and living room, all with ROKU and Spectrum Cable. Extensive movie selection available. Fully equipped kitchen. Our hosts made sure we had every comfort to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. Everything was spotless and we appreciated the detailed instructions on how to work everything. The country cabin decor was so tasteful and it was nice to have a king size comfy bed. We definitely will be back in warmer weather!

Very charming and cozy! We didn't arrive until after dark and the hosts had the lights on for us. Welcoming snacks were a nice treat! The beds were definitely the most comfortable I have ever slept on other than my own.Loved this home away from home! Highly recommend this home!! Definitely will stay there again!!

I have never felt more welcome and at home in a rental property. Everything was super clean and inviting. The.i structions were crystal clear and there was obviously a good deal of edfort put into them. Anything you could think of they provided. Amazing place.

This is by far one of the BEST places to stay when you are in the Waynesville area. The hosts are excellent and very hospitable! The place is super clean and you can tell that they put so much thought and care into it. We enjoy the little touches all throughout the place that make it super cozy. It's really like a home away from home and we can't wait to book another stay. It's in a super quiet location and the hot tub is an added plus! You can't go wrong with staying here. 10/10 highly recommend - we miss it already!

This cabin was so cute and comfortable! The owner thought of every detail, from pool towels to snacks to movies and games. The garden is gorgeous, too. Highly recommend!

This place was wonderful! It felt like a cabin in the forest yet it was fully modern and had every accommodation you could think of! Everything was very clean and clearly labeled. Each bedroom had a king bed, a tv, outlet strips, a closet with extra blankets and pillows, and luggage stands. If I’m ever in these parts again, I’d love to stay here!

Home away from home!

I have never been as comfortable at a VRBO than we were at Bear’s Rest. We live in North Carolina on a mountain, so we loved and appreciated the cabin feel and decor. Everything was top notch. The location was perfect, close proximity to our family, restaurants, and groceries but quiet and restful. We hope to be able to visit Bear’s Rest again!

Great fall getaway

The Bears Rest is a perfect cabin to escape from the rest of the world’s noise. So comfortable and easily accessed, we loved staying there!

All sheets, blankets, bedspreads, furniture throws and towels, including hot tub towels, are washed in 140 degree water after every guest to sanitize for the next guest. Floors are vacuumed and steamed after each guest. High touch areas are wiped with disinfectant. Owner on property for quick response but rental property back yard and deck are very private.
