Relax in the renovated 2-bedroom, 2-bath living space or step outside to fire up the grill and fire pit for a BBQ. Head about 1 mile into town via the Highlands Greenway and explore local restaurants, shops, and entertainment. A unique landscape of waterfalls, trails, and mountain peaks.

Quick but memorable stay

We had a 2 night stay at Hidden Bear Cottage and loved it for our little family of 4. The cottage has been updated and was very comfortable for us. The kids loved running around in the backyard and we loved the fire pit and scenery. Close to town but still secluded. We will be back!

Hidden Bear Cottage

Thank you for sharing your cottage! So very clean, easy check in, and cozy beds! Love the carport area for easy unpacking! The balcony was Roxie’s cozy hang out place!

Perfect Highlands Getaway

My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay at Hidden Bear. The house was beautiful, clean, and close to town. The hosts also checked in and made sure we had everything needed! Would definitely recommend for your Highlands trip!

Newly remodeled home in Highlands, NC

Completely updated home conveniently located in Highlands. Very clean and the outdoor space is so welcoming. Excellent communication with owners before, during and after our stay. 100% recommend this property for a stay in Highlands, NC!

We are Bree and Boyd and we live in Milton, Georgia. We have loved going to Highlands, NC for years. We purchased the home in 2021 and fully renovated the two bathrooms and kitchen.
Our favorite activities are hiking to Sunset Rock, Whiteside Mountain, and paddle boarding in Mirror Lake. We also enjoy the Highlands shops and restaurants.

We love the Mirror Lake neighborhood for relaxing walks and access to the lake and town via the Highlands Greenway trail. Cool evenings around the fire pit with a game of cornhole is a great way to wind down after a day of shopping or hiking.

この宿泊施設の特徴

This is a single family 1 story home on a .4 acre lot nestled in the quiet Mirror Lake neighborhood that has a mix of full time residents and other vacation homes. It has a very wooded and private front and back yard, but it's easy to take a neighborhood walk down to Mirror Lake or all the way into town.
Our guests love the casual and cozy interior design and clean and modern, newly renovated bathrooms. With a fire pit (firewood provided), weber grill, and cornhole, a lot of families enjoy cool summer evenings in the backyard.
