Ideal setting for a couple looking to relax and enjoy a very cozy, comfortable time on the lake. It was great to have a boat ramp and dock. Highly recommended. Will be back!!!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Pictures match cottage exactly. Very clean, decorated so cute, comfortable bed. We hope to come back each year. Very quiet and relaxing, having your own dock is so nice. Host was great. Definitely recommend.

Wonderful, clean, spotless getaway cottage with boat dock nestled between Newberry and Chapin SC and near Deher State Park. Very cozy and romantic and the heating and cooling system was excellent. Wonderful appliances and complementary cookware, eating utensils and some coffee‘s with coffee makers and teas were available complementary for us. Beautiful view and fishing right off the dock. If staying for a while at Lake Murray, hiring a guide for where the fish are hiding may be a good idea. We arrived to an impeccably clean, comfortable and wonderfully decorated cottage. Host Brian made sure we were set up comfortably for our weekend stay. The views are breathtaking! I enjoyed relaxing in the outdoor rockers watching and listening to wildlife around the lake. Coffee in hand from the coffee bar of course! My husband enjoyed fishing from the private dock.First morning he caught a bass ( safely released) with his fly rod, which I caught on video! Cottage is in a great location close to restaurants on the lake (live music), and shopping. We look forward to another stay soon!

We booked this cottage through VRBO because of its incredibly convenient location—just one minute from Southwind Acres, where our son’s wedding was held. It was the perfect solution so the bride and groom didn’t have to make a 45-minute drive home after such a long and special day.They were absolutely thrilled with the space! The cottage was clean, beautiful, and set right on the water at Lake Murray, which made it even more memorable.Thank you for helping make their day extra special—we truly appreciate it!

This was my second stay at Brian’s place, and it was just as great as the first. The photos and reviews really do speak for themselves! Brian is incredibly responsive and accommodating with every request. I ran into a major issue with my boat trailer during this trip, and Brian immediately connected me with someone who got it fixed quickly, saving my fishing trip. They are wonderful people and we will definitely be back!

We absolutely loved this place! It was the complete, perfect package of what we were looking for to celebrate our anniversary and my husband's 83rd birthday. The house was fabulous and the scenery was amazing. We fished from the dock, had drinks on the patio, and just enjoyed the comfort and beauty of our surroundings. It was amazing. We're so glad that we stayed here.

This place is amazing !

We absolutely loved staying here , the property is beautiful and the house is immaculate! The view of the lake is stunning to wake up to and we definitely recommend this property and Brian is an amazing host . We will definitely be coming back to stay !
