This was the first rental after Covid and it was clearly not ready for renters! The house is very very outdated in style, decor and appliances. To name a few of a very long list of disappointments, the security system alarm went off multiple times per night with minimal instructions on how to resolve, no Wi-fi information was shared initially and when asked, we were told to check the modem (no luck) and thus asked again the next day, water was shut off to washing machine, many burnt out light bulbs including the front porch light, no hair dryers, doors to both bathrooms were off their tracks and did not work, many pet/ carpet stains, water damage stain on the ceiling in the den, no check in nor check out instructions, kitchen burners were rusted and disgusting, and no functioning light in master shower/toilet room. It was disclosed to us the day prior to check-in that the garage had a large leak and did we want to still reserve.....where else would we go with 24 hour notice? The property manager tried to be of assistance BUT does VRBO even check their properties before renting? VRBO and this owner should be ashamed of the way this property was presented! I certainly hope to get a refund of some sort from the owner and/or VRBO. It is certainly deserved!
