great location

The property is very clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable. It has an excellent location very close to shops and restaurants downtown. Parking was easy. The hosts were super helpful and easy to communicate with. I would highly recommend staying here.

Very lovely, relaxing condo with excellent location in Buena Vista

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Basecamp BV. The furnishings were very comfortable, and it has a relaxing vibe. It is nicely remodeled and decorated. You cannot beat the location with downtown stores, restaurants, and of course, the Lariat, all in walking distance. Would love to stay here again!

Good Spot - But Not Upfront About the Property

This house is subdivided with the VBRO spot being the front 3rd of the house and the owners being the back 2/3rds of the house. There are multiple locked entrances between the two, one being a door with windows that can see directly into one of the two bedrooms and into the hall between the two bedrooms. Would be easy to violate our privacy. Really didn't like the glass door and would not have rented had I known we were sharing space. I didn't rent a VBRO to have to tell my kids to be quiet so they don't disturb the others in the house. Property was clean, beds comfortable, and a great location.

Billy - Thank you for positive remarks on the location and cleanliness. I would like to respond to the other comments for future guests who may be reading this. It is stated in the property description that we may or may not be in the other half of the home. Whether we are there or not we want our guest to enjoy the space and not worry about being quiet - it's your vacation time!! Regarding the doors - there are actually only 2 doors that are locked. The one with the window that you are referring to is the supply closet - which it is labeled on the door. I apologize if you did not feel the space was private, but it is just a closet. To make future guests feel more comfortable, we did install a cover on the rental side. We also have separate outside entrances to the rental side and to our side - nothing shared at the entry point. Thank you for your comments and we hope you enjoyed your time in BV and will come back again.

The host communicated all of the important information in a timely manner. The rental was very clean and nicely decorated. It is a home that was built in 1892 which still has some original wood floors and older doors which add to the character of the home. The location is in the perfect location less than a block to dining, rooftop bar and shopping. The river park is within walking distance and has great hiking trails. The rental is stocked with everything needed plus extras. I observed many small details included such as enough towel racks in the large bathroom for all guests. The beds were comfortable and we slept well. We arrived on a warmer day and the host had the air conditioner running and the rental very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.
