Enjoy your stay in a rare find 2Bed / 2Bath just remodeled with a balcony from where you can spot the ocean!!!

Located in the Gulf Terrace Condominiums, our building is the closest to the sea.

Gulf Terrace properties offers 3 outdoor pools (One of them is heated), tennis courts and a beautiful fishing lake.

In order to ensure the safety of our guests, the apartment has a door bell video device located outside next to the door to the apartment.

You will be 0.7 miles from the beach access (4 min driving - 15 min walking), right next to the aquatic park Big Kahuno, and a few minutes from the many attractions and shops that Destin has to offer.

Enjoy a TV with Roku in each bedroom and a big screen TV in the living room.

Get a coffee or a tea on the balcony from which you can spot the ocean water.

For your confort, we also provide 4 foldable chairs and other beach supplies that you may take to the beach.

The apartment is on the 2nd floor with no elevator. Only one flight of stairs.
It is NOT a front beach property however it is a short 4 min drive or a 15 min walk to the beach.

Our condo is PET FRIENDLY as long as your animal (medium size) is house broken, potty trained and not left unattended.

No swimming allowed in the Lake of Gulf Terrace Condominiums. Thanks

Breezy

Douglas and Ludi were very kind and wonderful hosts. Their place is light, airy, and clean. The location is perfect for easy walking distance to the beach, food, and other venues. The grounds have great pools and super friendly turtles in the fishing pond. We loved it and will be back.

Clean and updated

I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice and clean apartment/condo. Everything works great and we had plenty of room for all of us. Including 3 young children. The pool isn’t far away and is family friendly. We enjoyed our week stay and will definitely be back! An ice cream stand is just below the apartment and they have amazing ice cream!

Nice vacation

It was a very nice, affordable place. Most days we had the entire pool to ourselves. Quiet neighborhood. I was a little worried when I saw some of the Google reviews for the condos, glad I chose to stay.

Location is very convenient.

Property is same as shown in picture but near by entrance door its very dirty and saw a trash bag when we check in. Inside property it was clean. Overall ok to stay.

Unexpected Emergency

Got to enjoy one night. Then unexpected Emergency happened which put me in the ER and then admitted to the hospital. Still in hospital, have been here since May 4, 2024. What a vacation. Will reschedule at a later time.

It was ok- only because of how good the owners were.

1st and foremost, the owners were spectacular! No complaints there!! They made check in/out seamless. We had no issues. 10/10, would recommend!! However.... there were some things that I think could habe been done better. Most of these things are PREFERENCES and me and family being that we are a family of 5.. Condo.. The condo was nice, but wasn't super clean, according to our preference. We found human hair in the much of the bedding and the showers which made us feel that the unit hadn't been thoroughly cleaned - so we bought cleaning suppliesto tidy up before we used anything. Some of the throw blankets in the bedrooms seemed to not have been washed - so we didnt use. We ran out of paper towels- there was only 1 role (stayed 5n/6d) - bought more and left the rest of the roll. There was no dish towel, only a sponge. I can't fully clean with a sponge - so we bought dish towels. Location... The location was near basically everything as stated. The beach was right across the street (4 mins) as stated as well. But we had to drive to the nearest public access point (unless we missed it somehow). Neighborhood.... we will never stay in this neighborhood or any other like it again. We've been to Destin before and this neighborhood was by far the worse one. The people next to us was smoking drugs. The condo where we park was too. It was an uncomfortable feeling each day we were there. My family do not drink or do drugs so this was a big 0 to us.

apartment in Destin

Although the property is designated as condos, they really are more of an apartment complex. Great pools, easy access to the main Road, a very good ice cream/hot dog shop right in front of the condo. The condo had plenty of sleeping space, was very clean and pet friendly. Beach chairs, umbrella and toys supplied too. Kitchen supplies were the bare minimum(we had to buy glass measuring cup, but left it with them), coffee pot too small. We had issues with the air conditioning not cooling off the apartment from the hours of 2pm-10pm which at first we thought was a malfunction. The owners were very quick to respond! After determining the air unit was in fact functioning, we realized that the excessive heat was caused by the sun glaring on side of the condo facing the main road/gulf. With daytime temperatures in the high 90's the air unit could not cool the area well enough leaving the living and kitchen areas hot as high as 82 degrees. It cooled down nicely while sleeping and stayed cool until the afternoon hours. The unit requires you to use steep wooden stairs with railing to get to second floor so be ready to climb multiple times to bring in your belongings. There is not an elevator. My 87 y/o dad struggled to make it to the top and therefore had to stay into the condo the entire trip. You will not be able to access the until until exactly 4:01 pm as it is set on a timer. We arrived at 3:20 and could not enter. Tough when you are traveling from out of town to time it for 4pm.
