Great Stay

Great stay! Backyard is HUGE!!! Location looks just like the pictures. Rooms are spacious and comfortable, and we had everything we needed. One thing to note, stay is right outside of Hobby airport!

Misleading; Unreasonable

As you drive up to the end of the airport runway, you are also approaching the driveway to a dirty-looking house in a mediocre neighborhood. That's the place. We found dead roaches under the sink and coaches (fishing out kids' toys). The floor is old, but relatively clean. The back yard was nice. A few hours into our stay, multiple of us smelled natural gas from the stove, which was turned off (and missing a knob), so we evacuated as the owner sent someone to check it out. Supposedly, the inspector found nothing, and the owner refused to refund our money; but she also failed to send a copy of the report for at least 2 weeks after. We're still waiting.

Me and my family chose this home for Texas just for a get a way bc the “pictures” were beautiful. The home has the accurate beds as listed and it is spacious BUT looks nothing like the pics! I had to go buy cleaning supplies to make us comfortable. She had candles but I went to bath and body and purchased 2 candles. The house has a bad smell to it and bathrooms were dirty! The shower curtains the toilet and floors. The living room couches were dirty the outside is old and creepy. A big backyard tho. It’s connected to a studio apt that she rents out as well. We met the tenant there just casually speaking as we passed each other and she was HIGHLY upset bc of the way the property looked vs the pics! I did contact the host and let her know that this house looks NOTHING like the pics. Claudia said the pictures were taken professionally…….(basically edited) she offered to give me my money back so I wouldn’t leave a bad review but this was too last minute to find something else. I would’ve given a lower rating but I’m not bc she did let us stay a little longer for checkout and the beds were comfortable. Besides the bunk bed being loose. It looks like they tried to repair it previously but the screw was still loose. I left her all extra cleaning supplies. We made it home after we cleaned it tho. I just don’t like being lied to.
