Experience the historic Stowe village and stay at ‘The Hobble Inn'. A 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom historic home situated in a picturesque neighborhood just 1 block from Main Street in Stowe village. Walk to restaurants, coffee shops and boutiques! The 150-year-old home has been carefully renovated to make your stay inviting and comfortable. Enjoy the proximity from ski slopes (shuttle stop within walking distance), amazing restaurants, nature trails, and shopping right outside your door!

This home-away-from-home is ideal for travelers seeking to experience the year-round outdoor recreation, art, culture, and history of this world-class mountain resort town.

SHARED AMENITIES: Grill, picnic table, yard (these are shared with the Hobble Inn Loft next door).

OUTDOOR LIVING: covered porch & patio furniture

KITCHEN: Fully equipped, stainless steel appliances, Keurig, standard drip coffee maker, coffee & tea bar provided.

The Hobble Inn was perfect for our weeklong stay. The inn is well cared for and stocked with everything we needed. Access to shopping, restaurants and hiking were a short walk away. Communication before, during, and after our stay was great. We had a fantastic week!

Perfect location

We loved staying at this house. It is right downtown Stowe so no need to try to find a parking spot. Very walkable. Beds and pillows were comfy. There was more room in the house than we expected.

Great stay for family vacation

Comfortable, clean home that met the needs of our family with young kids. The property management was extremely responsive to a few small issues we had (e.g. needing to flip a breaker to get the dryer working) and sent someone right over to help. The beds are new and very comfortable and the quality of beds and pillows were also unusually good for a rental!

I would recommend the Hobble Inn to anyone interested in staying in Stowe, VT for a small family vacation, exploring the Northern regions of Vermont,and/or viewing the changing Fall leaves. Convenient walk to downtown shopping, restaurants, and bars. Access to the Stowe Recreational Path is a short walk away and is ideal for a daily walk, run or bike. The three sitting rooms are wonderful for allowing family to have personal space after a day of exploring Vermont together. The two bathrooms are well placed on the ground floor and second floor. The downstairs shower is well suited for individuals with lower body mobility issues.We really appreciated how clean the whole house was when we arrived and how easy it was to keep tidy during our stay.

Fabulous stay in Stowr

We loved this historic inn. There were six of us and this home has plenty of space to stretch out and find some quiet time. It is super comfy and had everything we needed to cook many meals at home. Plus. It’s perfectly situated just a block from the cute downtown Stowe. We could walk to get groceries, coffee or just leisurely strolling and shopping. The owners provided lots of great info on local waterfalls, hikes and attractions. Ben and Jerry s is just 20 min away as well. Highly recommend this rental.
