Great Place to stay

Great place to stay, location was good and house very clean. Only complaint would be outside seating, only loungers with out cushions. Would stay at again.

Great stay in Exuma

The home is fantastic and newly built. Very pleasant. Everything works. And, Anya's guidance was valuable in getting around the island and finding restaurants, rides, etc. It was great to have use of the car for short trips into town.

Tropical Oasis 🌴

We had a wonderful stay in Exuma at Anya's property! The owner is a pleasant and responsive host. The house is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The layout is spacious and light and airy. A great place to relax and hang out after a day of adventures. We were centrally located so the beaches at both ends of the islands were options, and it is an easy drive to George Town. We would be happy to stay again : )

Getaway in the Bahamas

The house is gorgeous, there were all the utilities you could ask for. The pamphlet that we found on the counter was very helpful and informative. The only critiques that we have are, it would be nice having a jack in the car, brighter light in the spare bedroom, and instructions on how to access streaming services on the tv. Overall it was a wonderful experience and the host was very pleasant and helpful.

It was a pleasure hosting Tim, and I'm so glad to hear that you had a wonderful time. My apologies for the missing jack. I've had guests in the past used the jack, wheel rench, etc and accidentally left them on the side of the road when changing a tire but I am happy that you said something and I'll be sure to replace the missing jack for future guests. You were an absolute delight to have as guests, and I truly appreciate how respectful and tidy you were during your stay. I hope you made some fantastic memories and that you’ll consider staying at my pro again in the future. If you ever return to the area, I’d love to welcome you back! Anya C.

Accommodating

Hist was very accommodating with all of our requests. We were travelling with an infant and she was able to get us a travel crib We always requested an early check in because of the children and the host immediately got back to us and gave us an earlier check in. Very clean and new

Anya was very easy to work with and answered all my questions quickly and easily ! She even helped us get a few extra fans for the bedrooms . The van that comes with the house ( as nice of a gesture as this is) , had horrible tires and we only used it the first day we got there and the last day when we returned the side by side we had rented for the 11 days we were there . We took the tire to get fixed and the repair man said this van shouldn’t be used until new tires get put on . We didn’t dare use it anymore as we didn’t want to pay to fix tires . The house was clean and had most things we needed . More seating on the decks would be nice to be able to enjoy sitting outside .

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, Kimberly. I am happy that you enjoyed your stay at Drifwood Haven. I'm sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience regarding the car tires. I'd like to respectfully clarify that road conditions on some roads in Exuma can be quite rough, which is unfortunately beyond my control and something all drivers on the island should be mindful of. As clearly stated in my house rules prior to booking, guests are responsible in the event of a burst tire or lost keys. This is the same policy followed by any standard car rental company. It’s also important to note that the vehicle is provided complimentary with your stay. Renting a van independently in Exuma typically costs a minimum of $220 per day, so having a vehicle included represents significant savings for our guests. We always aim to be transparent and fair, and we appreciate guests taking the time to review the house rules before and during their stay. Thank you again for your feedback, and we wish you all the best in your future travels.

Wonderful Property & Amazing Host!

This property is simply stunning and Anya(our host) was great to us and extremely attentive to any of our needs. I must tell you that the house looks way better in person. The property was exactly as presented on the website and was clean, beautiful, and spacious. We stayed for 12 nights and we enjoyed every day of it. We loved the privacy of this house and the area is so quiet. We woke up to the beautiful sunset from our balcony every morning. Anya checked up on us and made sure we had everything we needed. She was indeed top notch. She made our stay extra special by running to the store to pick up a few things, as well as making our check-in and out process effortless. The free dinner was delicious and she even had Craig come over to the house to make us conch salad. Anya took us out one night to the Fish Fry so we got to hand with the locals which was super fun. The car was indeed a plus for us. It got us around very well and we got to explore the entire island. She arranged a private boat charter for us as well which was the highlight of our trip. We truly had a wonderful time and will definitely be back to next year. Highly recommended!
