One of Folly's Best, 99 Steps Away. This adorable 4 bedroom, 2 bath Folly home is one of the few remaining ‘streetcar’ houses on Folly Beach. This classic home is also only 99 steps away from the beach, which inspired the property name. Located on the quiet west end of Folly, this home is the perfect spot for a relaxing beach trip. This home features plenty of outdoor space to enjoy with the family. If you want to relax on the deck while grilling or step inside to the screened in porch where you can have an outdoor meal or lounge on the sofa and listen to the waves just across the street.

This updated classic has all the comforts plus a little extra. The living room and dining room feature windows that fill the room with natural light. Stay connected on your stay with WIFI and Smart TVs throughout. A pass through between the kitchen and dining room means you can always feel connected to your guests.There is even a special board game wall that features games for all ages. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances to create a memorable dish. This home can sleep 8 guests with a comfortable King bed and smart TV in each bedroom. The primary bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with a separate closet that features the shower, the washer/dryer, and a private entrance to the backyard. The bedrooms in the front of the home are connected. The front bedroom features a private entrance to the home through the screened porch. Stay cool in the summer as the HVAC was replaced in ‘24.

99 Steps Away allows 1 dog. Pre-approval is required, and fees apply-please don't hesitate to contact us directly for additional information. The rental includes 5 onsite parking spaces. Please note: charcoal/propane/firewood and cleaning of grill is the responsibility of the guest. There are multiple single step transitions on property. All photos are current and accurately depict the property. Please book with confidence. This property is licensed by the city of Folly Beach as a vacation rental - License Number LIC009756. Because of the potential of fraud we would not recommend booking a property not licensed by the city of Folly Beach as a vacation rental.

Great getaway

We visit Folly multiple times a year and this rental was our favorite so far. House was so cozy, the closeness to the beach was incredible, and location on the island was perfect.

Close to the beach!

This property was really close to the beach less than 5 minutes walking. I wish they would have child friendly dishes it is an order home but we had everything we needed. Big comfortable beds.

Great quirky house close to beach

The house is from the 30s and has a great personality! Beach access is very easy. Property was clean. We had a couple of small issues the 1st evening and by 10:30am the next morning they had already came over and resolved! Property is close to “downtown” Folly Beach but far enough away to be quiet. Only suggestion is it would be nice if all the rooms had a full length mirror instead of just the back bedroom. Overall, we loved it!

Review

The pictures need to be updated, the house needs some maintenance. The pictures look nice, but the entire house is leaning, the back yard looks much different in the pictures. The porch and lattice needs work. The lattice under the house is falling down, the grill that's available doesn't had propane to use. You need to purchase that! The house is ok but nothing extra for the price. Plenty of parking, clean house, but there not much else to say.
