Sandy Feet Retreat is a classic Folly Beach 4BR/3ba cottage located just across the street from the beach. Original pine finish throughout and bright white paint give you an open, airy, island feel. Multiple decks with sunny ocean views remind you that you've reached the edge of America, and you can hear the waves Folly is famous for.  Enter into a Carolina Room with plush couches and 60" TV where you can feel the sun stream in-- or go blinds down to watch the big game. Two separate Master Suite each with en-suite baths have king beds, and 2 other bedrooms with queen beds allow for a family style vacation, or mixed couples retreat. The 2 Queen Bedrooms share a common bath with a classic clawfoot tub ideal for soaking or showering. One of the master suites is accessed by a spiral staircase centrally located so you can channel your inner retro. It also sports its own private deck with ocean views-- so let the fighting begin with your group over who gets this coveted space. Two of the bedroom also have their own TV.
The large open kitchen is well appointed, perfect for quick meal prep or Giddy Up your own Galloping Gourmet. Just off the kitchen is a farm style dining table where your group can commune over your culinary spoils, or enjoy family game night, or have a corporate meeting. That's the beauty of this beach cottage -- you can make it your own.
Outside the back porch you step down to a large, private, sunny backyard where the kids can play. And it's a nice retreat on those off season days where the Atlantic breeze might be a little cold.  You've also got a grill to make good on the aforementioned gourmet, and an outdoor shower to wash away the sand and salt from another awesome beach day. 
Location-wise you are a short 10 minute walk to Center Street where all the Folly bars, restaurants, and shops are. In addition, this stretch of beach across the street at 6th St West is wide open with newly formed dunes and fencing and sports prime views of the famous Folly Beach Pier. And--HUGE BONUS-- for all you families because just a block away is one of 2 kiddie playgrounds on Folly providing more theater of operations for you to manage the fickle, finicky moods of your brood (..."I'm bored".. "There's too much sand at the beach".... etc). Wave Watch Playground is located on the corner of 5th St W & W Cooper Ave. One last thing to note... because the house is elevated on stilts there is plenty of covered SHADED parking underneath to help your cars stay comfy in the Carolina sun. So whether you want the views, the beach, or a classic cottage to chill out in… come book a stay at Sandy Feet Retreat and create memories that will last until next year when come back again and write another chapter in your Folly story. 
And now for the legal –type stuff: The home is located in a quiet residential section of Folly Beach and we do not allow parties or events. Folly has strict noise ordinance rules and is really cracking down with fines. So if you want a house party don’t book here. Residential District QUIET HOURS are from 10pm-9am with no loud voices or amplified music inside or out. Sandy Feet Retreat is strictly NON SMOKING and allows a maximum of 8 guests with 6 off street parking spaces. Pets are NOT ALLOWED. For the security of the house there is a Eufy doorbell facing the street. We require all guests to sign our standard 2-Page South Carolina Short Term Rental Agreement which includes all the house and Folly Beach rules. We strongly recommend guests purchase TRIP INSURANCE which can protect you from last minute travel changes due to health, family, weather, or employment issues, etc. ..…Hope to see you here soon!
