Island Princess 613 is a Gulf-front 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo in Fort Walton Beach that sleeps up to 6 guests. This beachfront condo offers Gulf views, balcony access from the master bedroom, a dedicated covered parking space, in-unit laundry, and seasonal beach service from March through October.

The living area includes a queen sleeper sofa, cable TV, a 65-inch 4K Samsung TV with sound bar, DVD player, board games, and beach-friendly books. An Xbox 360 system with two controllers and games is also provided.
The kitchen is stocked for cooking and includes granite countertops, stainless appliances, glazed-finish maple cabinets, a refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, utensils, and a dining table.
The master suite includes a king bed with a Tempur-Pedic mattress, Gulf view, and balcony access. The master bathroom has a walk-in shower. The second bedroom includes a queen bed, and the second bathroom has a tub/shower combo.

Great unit at a quiet location. Beach services included was a plus. Designated parking spot was great. Everything was clean and check in and out were easy. The kitchen was fully stocked but there are no spices, not even salt and pepper so if you plan to cook a quick meal, you need to bring everything with you. The biggest perk was no elevator issues like at other condominiums and not a crowded beach. Even over this holiday weekend. My only issues was that I wish the king bed was better. The mattress was not comfortable as someone with chronic back pain, this is important for me.

Legacy vacations is a great company to work with. I would recommend them to everyone and usually do. The only problem we had was people on the 7th floor moved their furniture morning, noon and night. I do not know why they would scrape furniture all the time but they did. I would ask the rental companies to please ask their tenants to please pick up the chairs, couches or dead bodies and move them and not scrape them across the floor. To please be considerate of their neighbors.

Great experience

The condo was amazon. It was up to date it had everything you wanted, and very clean. The grounds of the property were amazon and very clean. The pool was clean and maintained every day and warm. The beach access was easy to get to.The beach chairs were set up early in the morning, and the men were very helpful. Will definitely stay again.

Condo great management company not!

This was the worst customer service we have ever received in all the times we have come down here. Will never rent a property from Legacy properties again. Rudeness was their main goal! Had a construction issue that could have been an easy fix if they even tired. But they were so rude about the whole thing it completely ruined our trip. The condo itself is wonderful but again never renting from Legacy!

Thanks for the feedback, Kristin. I'm not clear on the nature of the issue that "could have been an easy fix." In reviewing your communication history, I see you sent us a message concerning plastic being placed over the sliding door/windows and asking if that could be removed (which would have been an easy fix) or you move to a different unit. Unfortunately, we weren't and aren't permitted to remove that plastic from the glass. It was put over the glass to protect it AND to keep dust from entering units through the weep holes and removing it not only creates a pathway for damage and dust, but also induces a liability on the construction company and/or the entity making the call to remove the plastic. Likewise, moving to a different unit (your other request) wasn't an option and even if available, wouldn't have been a fair resolution to the unit owner, who's unit you had booked since 3/10/23 (with full knowledge of the ongoing construction) thereby robbing them of the opportunity to rent it to anyone else. I certainly understand your frustration with the situation and share in it. Unfortunately, there simply weren't any available remedies for your concern.

Do not leave anything when checking out! They will not return it!

Reviewer Comments: Will never rent a condo again from Legacy Vacation Rentals, when checking out we accidentally left a gold herringbone necklace in a drawer in one of the bedrooms and called soon as we realized within a couple a hours of checking out but before next check in was told that they would call cleaners or send someone to check and of course they said they didn’t find it. There was no one else in the condo so there is no way it wasn’t found! Please double check you have everything of value when checking out because you will not get it back! Whoever they had check for the necklace was not honest at all! KARMA!

Hey sorry that you apparently misplaced your casting Legacy Vacations as dishonest , dishonest. we called you around 11:15am on checkout day about a necklace charm that our team recovered from the unit. Sounds fairly dishonest, eh? Upon receiving your calls several hours after our initial call to you, we dispatched a member of our management team to check the unit and interview the housekeeper. Neither effort was successful in locating your necklace. Again, really sorry that you misplaced your that you decided to write a dishonest "revenge" review, in what can only be interpreted as an attempt to harm our reputation. As we do with every sub-par review, we conducted a review of our systems in an effort to understand any issues that may have happened during your stay. That review revealed that we sent you your door code around 1130am (4.5 hours ahead of the 4pm check in time) and that there were no calls or messages from you during your stay (usually indicating that everything went great). Given that you noted that you had issues with the cleanliness, location, property condition, would have been helpful if you had communicated those "concerns" sometime during the 7 nights you were here. We would have loved the opportunity to correct any deficiencies. We can't help but wonder what this review score would have been if you hadn't misplaced your necklace and blamed us. Unfortunately, we'll never know.

The experience leading up to the reservation was on point as well as the check out process. I did speak with the owner directly and he was wonderful helping set everything up. I will say the weakest point was the furniture and appliances within the unit. The beds were very bad. Both were extremely hard and our guests ended on up on the couches. These are beyond firm mattresses. I would recommend the owner putting a little money into all furnishings and updating. The couches had stains all over them and the cushions were so used that the frame of the couch was higher than the cushions themselves in some areas. The barstools are filthy and some would swivel while others would not. The washer and dryer worked fine but the tub is off balanced and made extremely loud noises each cycle. Overall a little furniture remodel would go a long way to make this special unit wonderful. The TVs in the unit are wonderful and large for each space. That was a positive for sure. The unit was very clean upon arrival and well stocked with towels. We would love to return once the furniture has been updated.

The beds were comfy and all the furniture looked brand new including the couch. That makes it more of a comfortable stay for me. The pool was clean and taken Care of along with the deck to the beach. All the gates required codes so it made you feel secure along with the security guard that patrolled. The only thing that was annoying was the elevator being very slow (20mins). Location was great. It was close to everything you might need. We will be back for sure!
